Why can't we just let the Mesicans come?

Legalize them all...then they will pay taxes and be like everyone else in America...

Wouldn't God want you to share what he gave you? Don't you think that he is disappointed with people who are not sharing?

If I didn't have electric or running water....I would come here too...

Glad I don't live in YOUR neighborhood...where I live...if our neighbor is having problems....we help them out.

BUT...if we reform our tax laws and make a flat tax, then there will be PLENTY of money for schools and everything.

We are a very lucky country. We have a lot here. I just don't see why we can't share.

And, as far as the rich Mesicans are concerned...they will have to deal with God when the time comes...I can only do what I am supposed to do while I am here.

WE ARE NOT A LUCKY COUNTRY. WE ARE A SMART COUNTRY. At least, we used to be. Mexico is rich. There are more billionaires in Mexico than in the USA. Why are Mexicans poor? Because they do not have the moral fiber to stand up, and change their government. They accept corruption as normal. They look for shortcuts, without doing the hard work to build a country where honesty pays. In Mexico, honesty does not pay. That is why they like it here. But they do not like the whites, blacks, asians, etc. here. They are here for the money. They do not like us. They do not respect the system we built over generations. They do not understand why Mexico is corrupt..... So they bring their disease here, and infect us.

We are not bringing them up, they are bringing us down. Public schools, hospitals, and other services are all strained die to demand by illegals that don't pay. Morals are on the decline (I am not right wing), but Americans used to be ashamed to hire illegals to do jobs, now, they think they have to, because taxes are sooooo high, if you do a job legally, it will be far too expensive...

Mexicans have a country. It is rich. It is corrupt. They should have a grassroots movement to change tax laws in Mexico, and make the rich pay more taxes, and the poor pay less.

They should punish corruption, and make it stop.
They should elect reformers, to change Mexico.
They should spend more on education.

But they will not. They leave. They "love" Mexico, but they leave it.

These morally weak people, who just "want to feed their families" are illegals. In Mexico, they were silent. They did not speak out about injustice. Here, they are VERY vocal. They "DESERVE" to be here, and they want the world to know.

So - why not just let them come? The US government is doing just that. Letting them sneak in. Some businesses are benefiting from cheap labor. Mostly though, they are having a very bad effect on society in the USA.

It is too late. Most illegals are from Mexico. Most have one or more children born in the US. So they are illegal, but their children are U.S. citizens. This war has already been lost.

The USA will continue to become more like Mexico. There will be more gated communities in the U.S.

The temporary solution to our temporary problem will become a permanent problem.

Think about it. They pick lettuce. So lettuce is cheap, and hospitals are expensive. If farms paid more to lettuce pickers, they would have money for health insurance, and not be a burden on hospitals. So do you want cheap lettuce, or cheap hospitals???

PS: There are over 2.5 BILLION people in India & China. Most of them are nice people. Should we let ALL of them come here?

Go to Mexico with no money. Take a low paying job away from a Mexican. Go to a Mexican hospital w/ no money. Try to put your English speaking kids into a Spanish speaking public school. Fly the American flag everywhere - at home, in your car, etc. Tell them you "deserve" to be there.

See what happens.

Nice & God has nothing to do with it. You can't speak for all of them. The fact that they come here illegally and stay here illegally (not pay taxes like the rest of us, not attempt to get citizenship, only come here to make a quick buck and expect us to pay for their healthcare/education) is the problem.

They want to take all this country has to offer, and still wave their own country's flag. You can have love for your own country, but keep it on the downlow. You want to live here, show some f-n patriotism for this country. They refuse to learn english. When I went on vacation to Mazatlan & Cabo San Lucas (or even Tijuana), I didn't go "Speak english!", I spoke to them in the minimal spanish I knew because I was a foriegner in their country and didn't need special treatment. These immigrants are coming to a majorily english country, and we are expected accommodate them? Seriously what the f***?

My great grandfather was an illegal immigrant (he actually escaped execution from Pancho Villa), but he went through the motions and became a citizen once he settled down. The laws were different back then, but he still made it honest. He wasn't a leach on society; which is what the majority of these illegals are.

You are not paying attention.

Really nice people do not commit crimes. They do not come into a country illegally, take advantage of the programs set up to serve the citizens of that country and then spit on those citizens that are supporting them by refusing to speak the language, burning the flag and treating Americans like crap.

Do you realize that over 9 MILLION jobs have been stolen from American citizens by illegals? Do you realize that we have spent over a BILLION dollars on incarcerating illegals? Do you realize that our school are now cancelling programs for the most gifted (who will later make the most money to support social programs through taxes) in favor of ESL programs because illegals refuse to learn English and teach their children at home like the legal citizens who come here from all over the world (including Mexico)? Do "really nice" people do this?

We need to keep the Mexicans in Mexico and offer aid that will truly help people who are in dire need. But we need to deport illegals and secure our borders as well.

-I don't support American government social programs that are running today, not the way they are run, I see people everyday who are lazy and good for nothing AMERICAN born adults, living off of the hard work of descent people. The social programs we have now should be vastly overhauled.
-Furthermore, I don't programs to help illegal immigrants because its a symbiotic relationship, and the system is supposed to help those in need not those who want. Have you seen what the people who come over here illegally have to settle for? They are abused and used in near slave like conditions. I feel for them, and I am sure that they deserve a better life than what they can acheive in Mexico, and want to become American citizens, let them become citizens BEFORE they cross the border.

Why are you people branding every illegal immigrant who comes here as a murderer, rapist, drunk, thief? Of course, there are illegal aliens who come here and commit crime, and darn right those people should be prosecuted! But the VAST majority of immigrants, illegal or otherwise, once here, are hard-working, decent people who obey the laws. Many of them DO pay income tax, depending on what type of employment they have, and most don't receive any kind of benefits. If we created a guest worker program, and gave them viable opportunities to work legally (don't give me any BS about how they can already do it, because 99% can't get a work visa- I've done MY research), they could and would pay their fair share of taxes.
(an aside, over 1/3 of American CITIZENS don't file taxes!!!)

Poor people can't pay enough in taxes to cover costs like the $10,000 per child per year it costs to educate their children much less for other services they use. We subsidize our poor, so we have to limit how many can come. We let more in than any other country, giving out more than 1 million immigrant visas every year. More are to Mexicans than to any other country. We ARE sharing.

4 billion people are poorer than the average Mexican worker and DON'T live in sneaking distance to our border. We cannot take them all. Their better life is at our expense, our schools are failing our children and our hospitals are closing.

Their people are NOT more important than our OWN poor, with whom, again, we ARE sharing.

Would God be disappointed? Do you speak for God? Does God want us not to have decent education for our own children?

I think God is disappointed in the rich of the illegal immigrants' OWN countries who are NOT doing what we do for our poor. Perhaps he is also disappointed with us. However, God can feed the multitude out of 7 small fishes and a loaf of bread, and we can't.

Do you think God might be disappointed with those who 'covet what is their neighbors' and break the law to steal education from our children, health care from our sick and services from our poor?
