Speed refers to how fast the internal components run: example, 1 GHz processor, means all of its components run on a 1 GHz clock

Processing power is usually measured in MIPs (Million instructions per second) or MOPS (Million operations per second). So you can have a 300 MHz processor with 900 MIPS

Nanotechnology is a capture-all word for components and contraptions that perform on the nanoscale. contained in the metric equipment of length, “Nano” equals a billionth and for this reason a nanometer is one-billionth of a meter. References to nano components, nanoelectronics, nano contraptions and nanopowders merely recommend the fabric or interest might want to be measured in nanometers. to income from the dimensions, a human pink blood cellular is over 2,000 nanometers lengthy, merely about outdoors the nanoscale determination!

i would define classification via the processing and speed as difining the system and its use...

ie. a good processor, a chunk of ram and and a good graphics card i would class as a gaming system

a good processor and a BIG chunk of ram could be classed as a industrial pc (ie. autocad and other processor intense programs)

a fair processor, fair ram would be classified as an 'office pc' etc etc etc.
