YES , the classification of computers is done on the basis of electronic technology ,because you must think of old computers what kind of electronic technology did they have , only vaccum tubes & some processors which were very huge in size as much as a room that is why they have said to be in first generation computers. Now see the latest technology and as well as the latest computer ,see their size with their speed of processing . That is why i think that the classification of computers is based on electronic technology .
