Isn't Jedi a religion? And doesn't atheism reject all religion? I guess you still can, since people seem to classify Buddhism as atheism too, calling it a philosophy. Let's hear what you have to say about the Force then! Oh yes, did you make that lightsaber yourself?

Sorry, Jedi is an acknowledge religion, WITH tax exempt status. There's even a cathedral (such that it is) in Australia. So no, Atheists can't have it.

Besides, Jedi's were Knights of the Republic.

Certainly. And I've been known to engage in psuedo-Christian behavior before, but I think I would rather be a Christian Jedi. I mean really, light sabre or sword... yeah, that's a real tough choice.

Star Wars was invented by fundamentalist Christians as a method of birth control in Ireland because they understood that Star Wars fans would never get laid. Unfortunately, Star Wars leaked outside of its intended market and ended up being used as a birth control device worldwide. The specific long-term effects of Star Wars are unknown, but most scientologists agree that it will cause total annihilation of the human race and several breeds of llamas by the year 2017.

Rather a contradiction in terms, don't you think? Even the Jedi were for something - they had a belief system that was the foundation of their group.

Atheists, on the other hand, are simply against - their guiding principle is to deny the existence of God.

So unfortunately there is nothing to be "for"

If this a joke to you rethink what your are doing. Hell was intended for the devil and his demons but since the fall of adam and eve things have changed. If you want to know more holla back.
