No real reason. All religions have a fairly significant turnover rate. People in all religions are converting to other religions.
Though, it is really just trading in one religious superstition for another religious superstition.

religion is just the connect to the heart it goes no reasons no logics because its the matter of heart
and if the indian women are becoming muslim then very good they must be impressed from the Islam
because it can be say"Islam is the complete code of life"
and there are many ristrictions in hindism and some time not get the complete rights and the Islam is first one religion who give the rights to women as a daughter ,mother, wife and in every relation
so it may be that cause
or the other one

Now he is telling, If he will do marriage under Special Marriage Act, without converting to any of the religion it will affect all his family members. Like his family members will not be allowed to take part in any of the religious function in their hometown. The whole town muslim community will separate his family from all religious ceremonies and so on... simply to say "His family members will not be treated as muslims by the muslim community of that town". what else or more do you want hear to get the message? we both are in a good relationship for past 6 years. --- really? he is going to Dubai for his new job. good bye.

Do they? I'm not Hindu but have read about the religion and found it to be quite beautiful . I can't imagine why they would want to convert to any other religion.

Everyone should be allowed to choose their own religion, and if someone convert someone to their religion that is fine, as long as they are not forced to change.
In reference to Islam specifically, Muhammed said that no one should ever be forced into Islam and that a person should come to Allah willingly.

Because they find out how Islam gave women's all her right
The final message of Islam was revealed at a time when a lot of people denied the humanity of the woman; some were sceptical about it; and still others admitted it, yet considered the woman a thing created for the humble service of the man. With the advent of Islam, circumstances improved for the woman. The woman's dignity and humanity were restored. Islam confirmed her capacity to carry out God's commands, her responsibilities and observation of the commands that lead to heaven. Islam teaches that the woman is a worthy human being, with a share in humanity equal to that of the man. Both are two branches of a single tree and two children from the same father, Adam, and mother, Eve. Their single origin, their general human traits, their responsibility for the observation of religious duties with the consequent reward or punishment, and the unity of their destiny all bear witness to their equality from the Islamic point of view. Establishing this fact, the Noble Qur'an says:
"O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam) and from him (Adam) He created his wife (Eve), and from them both He created many men and women and fear God through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship). Surely, God is Ever an All-Watcher over you." (Qur'an 4:1)
That people all people men and women, were created by their Lord from a single person or self, that this self is a nucleus from which Allah created an integral counterpart that completes this original self and is completed by it, is stated in another verse:
"It is He Who has created you from a single person (Adam), and (then) He has created from him his wife (Eve), in order that he might enjoy the pleasure of living with her." (Qur'an 7:189)
Eventually Allah, out of this nuclear pair, scattered the multitudes of men and women, all worshippers of a single God and children of the same parents implying they are united in a fraternity, embracing men and women alike. Because of this fact, the verse commands people to be consciouss of God as their Lord and be heedful of the duties that the wombs, as symbolic of this bond, impose.

Because they don't like that religion and believe in islam.
Or because they are weak and other people force them to convert. Sometimes the man they love is Muslim and they want to marry and there's no other choice for her.

because they dont believe in Hinduism if they want to convert to another relgion, obviously. And because there is only one god and he is not in the shape of any statue, idol, or animal of any sort.
