Relationships end. To hold a grudge because you have nothing else to do destroys the ability to forgive yourself. Because busted relationships deal out pain to all sides it is not in ones best interest to subject the other party to more pain. The loss of a loved one is one thing, losing your mind over it is something to be avoided at all costs. Learn to love, don't learn to hurt. Inflict friendship if possible. Life is short.

You aren't responsible of your feelings. It's normal to feel bad after a breakup (if you aren't the one who left) : you feel lonely, you miss your ex, you hope he (or she) will be back, etc...
Then you understand you needed a lesson and you have to get it, or it will happen again. Try to find what (but don't take things personnaly, or what he said seriously : if he was still attracted, you could live in China and him in South africa, you could look like sh..., nothing would be a real problem).
Don't blame him for having let you. Blame him for not having found out the unique girl you are. Be cool, smile (force yourself, then it'll come naturally), be open : there are at least 10 guys around you who would love to spend sweet moments with the unique girl you are.

I forgive everyone. But forgiveness does not mean you have to spend any more time with them.
Harboring anger is like taking poison and expecting it to effect someone else.
Forgiving someone does not mean that you have to hang out with them. It simply means that you do not waste your time having negative feelings about something or someone that no longer matters.

Yes, it feels great. Try it......
my ex left my daughter and I when I was five months with the second. I had much anger, especially when he tried telling her that we were never married. She came home crying, so I made him show her our marraige certificate. It was ugly, painful, and bitter. He also left me for a coworker of his.
If I can forgive him, than anyone can forgive.

Yes. I forgave my cat for eating 1/2 of my steak last night. She was really hungry, and I always cook extra anyways...
