Theists saying that "God's creation" is perfect.

What puzzles me about this is that they must have very poor observation skills. It's the lack of perfection in nature that makes it so interesting.

The suggestion that humans were "created perfect" is just plain silly. Numerous creatures have better eyesight, we've got a terrible blindspot where the optic nerve joins the retina. We give birth to young that can't walk for a over a year, the list goes on.

Strange idea of perfection isn't it?

Can't they see that the lack of perfection is where the beauty in nature lies?

Are they just obsessed with the idea that if it "comes from God", it must then be perfect?

1) We're talking about spiritual perfection, not physical perfection.
2) We were created good, not perfect... and obviously we haven't remained that way anyway.
