I COULD choose to be of another religion, but I'd have to be convinced that that was what God wanted me to do. So far, that hasn't happened.
I do have a certain admiration for Islam, though. I think many Christians could learn a lot from sincere Muslims if they'd just pay attention and stop lumping them in with "Islamist" extremists. Lumping all Muslims together, as if they're all alike, makes about as much sense as lumping all Christians together.

I left Catholicism, in order to seek those places where all of the religions meet.... In my personal expression of communication with the divine mind, I am currently Pagan, but it's entirely possible that could change at any time, as I proceed in my studies, it's just that Paganism is an appropriate vehicle for my beliefs at this time, but I may move on from there, as my beliefs change....

I can choose another religion if I want....but I do not want to change. If i did choose any 'religion' other than the one I now believe..I would join NONE..I have seen so much hate etc from non believers..from believers..from every kind of belief system....I would go out into nature by myself..no human anywhere around.

Islam. It would be difficult to adjust to the dietary restrictions though. Jesus is my prophet of choice, but I see the beauty of Islam. It is a very close second in my book.

I was Catholic and chose to be an atheist after careful thought. I realized I didnt believe in God and was just going through the motions. I feel like I am being honest with myself now. I live a life free of fear of God and hell. I live for this moment and no other. Think about it.

Like you, I used to be a christian (20+years in the church) but chose a pagan path instead. I am much more at peace now than I ever was in the church.
If I had to switch, I'd say Buddhism.

I think I'll stay Muslim. Used to be a Christian and was very active in the church for about 9 years.
