if you say you love her it means you love her as a friend who you can count in your life but your not in love with her coz the feeling you feel for her is different from being so in love. coz being inlove is really really different its the feeling that you dont know the real meaning which you cant define it correctly and its a deep feeling for someone your aching to be with for your whole life

I say that about the guys that I think of as brothers. Being in love and loving someone is different. I love my friend Luthor, but I am not and never will be in love with him. I hope that helps.

"i love her"- it could be just an expression that you actually like her
.....
"i love her, but i'm not in love wid her"- it shows that you like her but you don't have the special feelings for her.. just a friendly feeling.. just an expression that you like the girl and not actually love her the way you define "love" ....

if a guy says that, i would interpret it as saying
"I love her, but we aren't in a relationship" or
"I love her, she doesn't love me" :P
