We've been friends for about a year now and a couple of months. Before our friendship, we both found out that we liked each other but nothing happened. I've asked him if he likes me and if he wants to go out twice. I think he could've asked me out straight out the first time, when we both found out that we both liked each other but I didnt really give him a straight out yes or no answer.. instead I said it'd be nice... I know, stupid answer!! -__-;; but I guess you could say i regret it now and have been thinking about him and us, i suppose and really do want him and to go out with him... but I am afraid that he will be like, oh no again, thinking that or possibly even telling me... I asked him about 3/4 months ago and he said that he didnt like me as much as i liked him and also said that if i'd asked him either a month or two earlier or later, it would have been different... and so... yeah... here I am still. Atm, we go to the same uni. There are stuff he does that makes me wonder..

I realize that my explanation's quite simple and basic... its actually probably complicated. well probably not...

if you want to know anything that will help you to give me advice, please let me know.

And, btw if your advice (like some of y friend's) how do you get over a guy that you spend so much time with? And that is a close friend... or the first and (atm) only guy friend?

You may have inadvertently trapped yourself in the "Friend Zone". You know, when the guy starts to see you as a "buddy" and can't imagine being more than that. It's hard to get over that funk especially if you're together all the time. The excitement isn't there anymore. You've become a fixture, like old furniture. So you have to do something to shake things up. Do something different with yourself. Get a makeover. Make yourself feel more fab and more glam. Get a new hobby. Something that gives you that glow that comes from being happy and having lots of positive energy. Be a little daring, unpredictable, mysterious. If those things don't catch his attention, then at least you'll feel good about yourself and in the end, you might not even care that much about him liking you or not. Who knows? You might even end up attracting someone even better. Good luck, sweety!

I have a friend who DID NOT ask Me out whilst We were at College because She figured that because I had not made a move I must be Gay. Sometimes Men just want a Fem-friend to talk to. Friends with benefits is all well and good, until one of the two starts to get serious or jealous. Draw a line in the sand and ask Him who and What he thinks He is.

Seems like he's just a friend and maybe the best thing to do is keep him like that.
