I have only been going out with her brother for 6 months so just want to give her something small. I dont really know what a one year old would like or need? Any Ideas? thanks!

One year olds love a toy telephone that makes lots of noise. Anything musical, but make sure it is safe for a toddler. Or look for a really cute or funny feeding bib. Best wishes.

Get a bottle of champagne... oh wait.... Go for a teddy bear. The only things I really remember from childhood are my stuffed toys, and I still associate them with the people who gave it to me.

think the telephone sounds like a good idea we had 1 for my son from woolworths for a bout a fiver he still plays with it 2 years on

Get her something from the "Early Learning Centre". They usually have good things at different prices.
