When you think about it, TP isn't very sanitary. Would you use a dry paper towel or one soaked in disinfectant to clean a turd off the kitchen floor? Think about it!

Actually, they make flushable cleansing towelettes for just this purpose. They sell them wherever you find toliet paper.

It is a pity that the bidet never caught on in the US.

I use baby wipes, yes indeed! I have two toddlers (both in diapers) and we buy cases of baby wipes from Costco. I always steal one of the individual packs and keep them on the back of the toilet for myself. My husband thinks I'm nuts, but it really does clean you better and makes you feel fresher!

It's really the same principal as those Cottonelle "moist wipes" that are aimed at adults, only baby wipes are a hell of a lot cheaper and much larger!

I think more people use them for that purpose than you think! I keep them in the car when we travel or go shopping for the day. Did you know that a "baby wipe" can get most spills off your shirt before it becomes a stain?! They are also good to use on your face to freshen up after a long drive. My son, who has been balding since he was 12 years old, uses them to keep the oily shine off his forehead. They are great to clean up spills off your furniture as well!

Do you realise that the baby wipes are the same wet tissues that girls use to wipe off makeup? Exactly the same thing but different packaging and different marketing! So, since we already use baby wipes to clean our faces, what makes you think that nobody is using it to wipe backsides?

I had to use them back around 2000 after I caught some weird fungus thing in Wells Beach, Maine from going in and out of the Atlantic ocean so much. I went to the doctor and she more or less told me to get some aloe wipes and use them instead of regular t.p.

It worked, too!

sure, i save alot of money by buying multipacks of baby wipes for make up removal and to freshen up during the day if i have no time for a shower. it's also good for moving surface marks left over from spills etc until you clean properly

wonderful question. i spotted at Wal-Mart that they have got repackaged toddler wipes for grownup use in a nifty little dispenser and below a diverse call. meaning that adults actually are using toddler wipes as you assert! My how clean.

I use baby wipes to remove makeup. I've used them to get the grime off my hands after gardening before I wash them and I'll use them after I'm done with the toilet and I've tissue first.

I keep baby wipes everywhere in the house. They are good for all little clean-up jobs. And yes, they are also in the bathrooms. And, there are no babies in the house.
