A girl I met last week has been phoning and texting me and wants me to take her out for a drink on Friday night. I like this girl and want to know what way people think I should behave, what type of place I should take her too, what I should avoid doing and what I should expect

Only show your best parts! Don't tell her a sob story about how your parents divorced or something; she isn't your psychologist! Also, avoid topics like sex, religion, and politics. Be funny, be a gentleman (meaning no touching; let her initiate but do not reciprocate), and be chivalrous. Most of all: Be A CHALLENGE! Why do women like 'bad boys'? Because they are a challenge.
A Challenge means that the girl has to work to get you, and since she's texting you and phoning you, she must be really interested. So don't blow it by getting mushy on her. Being a Challenge means that you arn't always available to her (so meaning you can see her only on M-Th and maybe Sun afternoon; Friday-Sat are totally off limits!!) and you see her once a week and you call at least 5 days after and only talk 5 minutes, that kinda thing. Trust me, Challenge does wonders on a woman's Interest Level!
Oh yeah, and take her to do anything as long as you are face to face with her and she talks most of the time. Meaning, no movies... too cliche. And doing something physical is fun!

The same way that You would behave on any other subsequent occasion. Ask Her where She would like to go for a drink. You can learn a lot about a Girl just by the choices She makes. Try just being Yourself. I know that it sounds easy, but it might be a lot harder than You imagine.

I suggest a quiet place you know, (or ask friends if you don't have anywhere in mind), so you two can talk. Ask her lots of questions about herself, so she'll know you're interested. Don't get too personal at first, ask her questions like, "What's your favorite film/book/TV show" or "What did you want to be when you were little?" or "What's your favorite thing about your job?" Then really listen to her answers. Don't interrupt her, but do tell her about yourself when it seems appropriate.

Just be yourself! well..now...if being yourself implies acting like a total jackass, then you'd probably want to chill a bit.

yah...it's important to be yourself because you want her to like you as who you are. make some interesting conversation. go to somewhere casual for example, go for coffee or something mild.

be yourself. nothing but yourself. take her somewhere nice, but casual. and avoid going further than she takes you.
