i poorly took care of my tattoo when i first got it cuz i was retarded, it didnt do too extreme of damage its just not as bright as i would of wanted it to be from lack of lotioning it (i made that word up). when i put regular skin lotion on the tattoo now it brightens up for a day or two then goes back to dimming, i saw some product online that "revitalizes" tattoo ink is there such a product that could permanently keep my ink bright or do i have to get it touched up??

These product claims are merely gimmicks. ANY lotion will temporarily make your color appear brighter because the lotion makes the outer layer of skin appear more transparent.

Keep the skin over the tattoo lotioned regularly - sunblock is always good for any skin. Exfoliate regularly. That is the best you can do for your tattoo other than having it professionally touched up.

Well the best idea is to get it touched up. Because why spend all this money to have this lotion that who the hell does or doesn't work. You buy the lotion and it doens't work then you still have to then get a touch up. Why spend more then you have to. Just get the touch up and take care of the touch up and everything will be okay. So be a man and get it done and Good luck!

you should put moisterizer on every day. according to you it works for a day or two right? even if you did not have tattoos it is still a good idea to use moisterizer every day. I don't know when you got your tats but i would wait a few years at least b4 a touch up.

The quality of the ink is a big factor on whether the colour will stay and look good after the peeling. Try using KY to stop the peeling. Consult your artist as well.

theres no lotion that permanently keeps it bright. youll have to go get a touch up and keep better care of it this time around.

getting it touched up would be a sure thing. then from then on keep it super moisturised and sunblock when you are out in the sun. i put oil on mine everyday and keep sunblock in my purse for my babies.
