The Bible states that man has only been on the earth for about 8,000 years.
If a chart is made from Genesis chapter 5 re the ages of the Jewish Patriarchs from Adam right up to Noah and the flood, and then tie it in with the geneology of Jesus at Matthew and Luke [ books of], a timeline can be drawn.
As people, Aussie aborigines must compy.
Its a bit of a 'believe it or not' situation, because the Bible is all we have to go on.
To believe the scientists as to the 40,000 years would make the Bible account false, thus rendering the whole Bible false.
Which as far as I am concerned, it is NOT.

Sorry, babes, yet a dictionary purely represents a slice of mainstream expertise at a definite time. And Jews have not been accurately represented contained in the mainstream expertise in an eonically long term. Judaism is a faith, no longer a race. The Hebrews have been an historic team of human beings, possibly a Canaanite subgroup, in line with risk forced into nomadism via circumstances, who progressed a diverse style of monotheistic non secular practice called Judaism. some Jews would be their descendants, yet no longer all. The words are 'interchangeable' purely to those who do no longer understand plenty approximately Judaism. Jews do no longer say we are 'the 1st'. it somewhat is a Christian thought. We did no longer grow to be monotheists or start up a collective id until eventually Abraham. Genetic researchers hint component to DNA lower back to seven woman ancestors. So sure, human beings are all suitable if we bypass lower back a techniques sufficient. yet why no longer purely communicate suitable to the interconnectedness of all of life? the quantity of DNA we proportion with different animals is impressive. Being Jewish rather potential some thing, and this is not any longer genetic or racial, and this is not any longer public assets for others to do with as they choose. Please leave our call and our id on my own.

I guess if you want to get scripturally technical... Yes we all are....
And your Kent Hovind style theory of a 6000 year old adam and eve is debatable.. Not much proof of anything in reguards to time.
