Patriotism can possibly get in the way of those things, but it does not have too. It just comes down to if you let your love for your country trump your reasoning ability or religion. It's about how the patriot acts, and not patriotism itself.

Well, if you look at your own people, it is one and the same. You and people like you come here to stir up dissent amongst the American people. There are web sites that expose you people for whom you really are. One of which is memri.org/index.html
You grossly underestimate the American people. You make the mistake of believing what you see in the media and of what your leaders tell you. We as a nation in times of trouble do unite and we will kick your @ss if you keep messing with this nation. This you will see in time. Read up on the history of this country and you will see how this nation responds to those that threaten and attack this nation.

To the people here answering this person, you should see the email he just wrote me. He proved what I have said above. He even went on to say how our nation will fall and used the terrorist rhetoric that they spew out with their propaganda against the U.S. He is a fraud.

Completely. You should never be unfairly biased towards ANY country. That would be a foolish thing to do. Every country makes mistakes.

"Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it."

Of course you are right.

So we need to be spiritualistic than be patriotic. In fact there is no need at all to be patriotic. But there is all the need to be spiritualistic.
