Well, you should give the Zovorax some time to work. I always use Ambesol (a baby's teething lotion that numbs and disinfects the area), and it works for me like a charm.
A cold sore, though, is a sign that your body is run down. Feed it some good, healthy food, and see if you can get some more sleep in the next few days. That should help speed things up.

I have tried Neutrogena lip balm before and it has proved to be very effective for me. Just apply it on the affected area and leave it overnight. It should be fine the next day.

Try putting aftershave or perfume on it hurts a little but does dry the suckers up my sister does it and hers go quick good luck :)

It's not much different than a zit in that it responds well to the same stuff. Clearsil works. Anything that dries it out.

Works for spots, so maybe with cold sores......try a bit of toothpaste...will dry it out.

errrr how about, strangulation, stabbing, shooting, even poisoning may help, they are all forms of killing!! but truthfully try dabbing on aftershave, it drys it up. and knocks it off ! really !!
