Indirectly, yes it is possible. Gummi worms alone won't cause it, but a high sugar diet can.
Athlete's foot can come from external sources, but it can also be caused as an opportunistic infection if intestinal candida grows out of control. It's called candidiasis or gut dysbiosis. This can happen with a high-sugar diet. Check out this article for more info.
