What have you done in the past? Regardless, ask her for her interests. I know that at ten I was into Lisa Frank products and things of the sort. You can give her a small party with a few friends and a sleepover with a handful of girlfriends. Plan some fun activities for her too. Hope she has a fun and memorable birthday.

she should invite around 3-5 kids.
food: have a variety- for example i hate it when i go somewhere and have nothing to eat- i am a lactose intolerant and i don't eat processed meat or oily food. Some examples are: animal crackers, popcorn, smore making, pizza, baby carrots, grapes, chips and a variety of dip, smoothies/slushes, make your own sundae, shishkebabs, potstickers, ramen, anything easy
sleeping: set out futons... if you don't have, tell all thekids to bring many pillows of all shapes and sizes. throw them all in the living room and have the kids jump in and find their cozy spot. lay their banket/ sheet over it and let them lie there. its awesome! make sure to have a nightlight, and a coffee or end table for their water.
fun and games: as i said before, make your own smores and sundaes is good. also, the game Twister. if you don't have it, look at the thrift stores, or, it is pretty cheap at the reular store.
also, you guys can put a big picknick blanket outside and go stargazing. you can take them to the pool or beach. they can play flashlight tag (look that up on google), board and card games, watch rented movies, just talk, do activities and crafts, and so much more. visit http://birthdaypartyideas.com there are billions of ideas there.
in the end 10 is still young yet for partys! i am 13 and had my 13 year party at chucke chese!! =)
good luck!!!
REMEMBER: kids and teens always find stuff to talk about/do, no don't need to have stuff planed for every minute!

Usually when my older children want to do something like this for their birthday I ask them what kind of "special" meal they would like for supper, or what specific cake they would like. They usually like the idea that they got to pick out the meal for the night. And if they want to have a sleepover, I tell them how many of their friends they get to invite. Usually we go and either pick out some movies for the night, or we take a trip to the mall.

a party for a 10 year old is basically pizza and cake with soda and movies and they stay up all night talking and giggling. They play music also. Moms are not allowed after cake and icecream and pizza has been served.

How many people could she possibly want to invite... especially to a sleepover. Get some blockbuster movies and/or board games, order some pizza, get a cake and call it a day :0)

Well, first get some invitations and tell her she can have X amount of (girl) friends over. Get popcorn, candy, soda, movies, make-up, nail polish, board games, etc. Let her have a sleepover party and watch movies, eat junkfood, play dress-up, do each others make-up and manicures/pedicures, play games etc.

pizza, cake, movies and popcorn. That should do it. If you have a jacuzzi warm that up and have the girls bring their swimsuits. See if there are any games your daughter likes...maybe a Twister competition or something. OR karaoke...that seems to be a big hit. Have donuts in the morning, sent 'em home and clean up the mess.
Have fun.

How approximately having a camp topic occasion... you're able to desire to establish tents on your front room and have them watch video clips, tell frightening memories...stuff like that...possibly supply each and every youngster their very own little flash gentle and compass (set up some scavenger hunt). if your daughter isnt into the tenting seem, you're able to desire to spruce it up via making use of gauze like tents... this must be relaxing...possibly have her supply u some ideas too. good luck!
