The best University is the one you pick and Graduate from.....becoming an Alumni is an honor and lifelong belonging, so pick a university that caters to Education and not glorifies Sports to the point where it overlooks the education.

Harvard, Yale, Oxford, Cambridge... They're all neck and neck. Parameters are statistics such as the retention rate, the student:faulty ratio, prestige and how that is measured, the notoriety of the alumni and other things... I guess Harvard is the best in the U.S. because it was the first school established in America and it has produced many brilliant minds, but so has a lot of other universities.

U.H.K. Man- that school is BRUTAL... -But I'll tell you; you NEVER forget what you learn there (& if you DO, then you're an even BIGGER fool for having had to go there- in the FIRST place.) The field work is TOUGH, the curriculum strictly Pass/Fail, & the droppout rate is appalling. BUT, if you Pass the tests & graduate from U.H.K.- there is NO job, no place else on the Planet, that you won't be able to handle. No doubt about it... -the University of Hard Knocks is a hard taskmaster... :)

To me it's the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford and Harvard. Those three are the best in my opinion.

It is world wide agreed that it's a three way tie.
Harvard, Yale and Oxford in England.

MIT is recognised too as a top contender.
