Learn something about musliums before you post rude questions.?

Seriously stop being rude and posting messages saying, "if musliums ruled the world I would become a terrorist and kill them." Do you read your messages before you click enter? Obviously not, all religions should be respected.

Me for example, I help my friends, the poor, family. I try my best to always put people before myself and I'm muslium. Does that mean I'm a terrorist?

seriously everyone needs to stop sterotyping! Just because someone is muslum doesn't mean they are a terrorist. so what if the people in the plane on 911 were musliums they were a radical group. I'm sure there's radical groups in Christian and Jewish, In fact there is! So please don't let people make you become racist because of the gossip you hear from media.

just saying since someone left a comment saying that musliums kill in the name of Allah, only muslium radicals do that. If you listned to the news you would know about what happaned in England. One muslium said you should kill in the name of Allah, he was a radical. And the other disagreed strongly saying our religion does not say that. Only radicals believe in that. I on the other hand along with a lot of musliums disagree strongly with that.

Another thing, Don't keep giving negative ratings to people who are supporting Islam. You are free to disagree but don't act like a little child and just start cussing or saying something irrelivant.

Exactly, it's just that in today's media tons of biases are evident, and to think that the world practically revolves around the media. If the news says a group of terrorists was constituted by Muslims, everyone begins to believe that all these innocent people are terrorists, and thus the word 'Muslim' is associated by many with 'terrorist'. The media is also strong enough to hold back and prevent people from hearing negative news of the people the populace favors. The world is really unfair, and all the people can do is strive to cope with it with the hope that the world in itself may finally change for the better. And despite all sorts of discrimination the people practice, their actions are never put to justice. This discrimination does not only concern religion, its also focuses on racism and bullying.

You are correct, and I am glad you are standing up for yourself in a way that doesn't reflect in a negative manner on you and your fellow Muslims. Of course, you are right. Northern Ireland is a great example of Christian terrorism (in fact, it is an example of Christian on Christian terrorism, even if it was caused primarily by political differences). You need only to go as far as Palestine to find Jewish terrorism. There are nearly one billion Muslims in the world, so if a majority of them were terrorists, the world would be quite empty of humans by now. Don't let them get you down. Just live your life the best way you know how, and you should be fine. All religions should be respected indeed. Good luck.

I totally agree that threats of killing and hoping others burn in hell with their virgins and such are completely unnecessary and very rude. I agree that we should respect each other for their personal opinions and personal choices in faith. But we have the right to disagree with what a religion teaches, such as Islam teaches that Jesus never died yet God took Him off the cross and took Him up into Heaven. We can, as mature people, discuss things like this without using rude words and demeaning each other. This is what I would like to see on this section.

But I have to add that about 3 months ago I was on here during a weekend and there were 2 people that were male Muslims and threatened death to all Christians and I got personal emails from one for hours quoting the Qur'an with threats and threats to my family and to my white American friends. I emailed back twice asking why he felt this was necessary and he kept stating that Allah deems me not worthy to breathe that same air as he. And I've seen a few other male Muslims here make very rude comments to American Christians.

So just like some Christians are nice and some are rude, there are nice Muslims and rude ones.

Kylie, this is happening to all religions on the Religion and Spirituality board. It is unfortunate.
Now there are also a lot of smart alecs on this board who like to keep things stirred up. I don't think some of them are part of any religion. They just think what they are doing is fun. I have suggested at different times that it is wise to look at the asker's profile and the various questions they have asked in the past.
These people are putting a lot of junk in anonymously and they make stupid remarks.
I am Catholic. You can't be too thin skinned if you participate on this board.
A lot of the questions are baiting questions. A lot of them have an accusation built into the question.

asallamolankum, one thing i would like to point out is Americans are not being a racist for discriminating against Muslims because remember Islam is not a race. i am a revert to Islam. after 9/11 i of course grew a stronger curiosity toward Islam because of it. hence when i read and seen everything from a different perspective i stumbled upon the truth. people who bash Islam are by-as because they have no clear understanding of islam. the media in this country is ruled by pro israelis/zionists and this is just the way things are. the best defense for muslims is to live our lives in a respectable manner and lead by example. in no way shape or form am i advocating for us to sit down and take what ever bashing comes our way but we have to defend ouurselves intellectually. the majority of american people are blind to the truth when it comes to islam. i believe many are blind to even thier own religion. being an ex christian myself i wonder why it is christians and perclaim themselves as believers in the teachings of jesus then go and attack others strictly for defending themselves. the quran is clear to muslims when it states a muslim should not live in a kufr nation except for three reasons, to teach islam, for school or for medical purposes. this is what muslims have to ndure when dwelling here. good luck, keoep your head up and remember you use your brain and you can change people's perspectives on things.

You'll just have to understand that some people are complete idiots. Look at what black people have dealt with for 400 years--being burned, lynched, enslaved--evrything. Even today blacks get fired and harrased on the jobs, arrested under false pretenses, and everything. People are uneducated, stupid, and rasict--You cant let them upset you. There's a woman at my job who refuses to speak to the black people--and she does this several times a day--she's stupid, ugly, and unhappy, thats all. (but I felt happy when I slammed the door in her face today---he, he, he!)

Keep living life and being happy--and keep being a good example. Allah says to watch how they end up, versus how we end up. Years from now, the same people mistreating you will be drug-addicts or miserable & unhappy--while you are sucessful and happy. Live life and be happy.

I think all people should show respect for beliefs other then their own. I also think people should stop trying to make GOD out as a bad one causing all the sorrow in the world. We should instead be glad that he has not destroyed this world! Remember the rainbow! I have a mixture of beliefs-does that make me bad? I don't think any two people believe exactly the same way. My Mom was catholic, My Dad, from Yemen, was Muslim, my Wife is a Jew and I'm agnostic.
The catholics destroyed civilizations in the New World the name of god and had a good time during the Inquisition.

The Muslims do have a thing about terrorism. All the market bombings throughout the middle east, the car bombs in Iraq, Israel.

The Jews had their terrorist when they killed and displaced the Palestinians when "reclaiming their homeland"

But agnostics never killed in the name of god, never destroyed civilizations in the name of god and church, never strapped on explosives and murdered innocent people in the name of Allah.
Seems like it's those of us who are either agnostic or atheist are the good guys. If there is a god I think we're the ones going to heaven.
