The real question here is how do evolutionist define vestigal organs (these are what you a refering to) and how do you determine if an organ has no present function or whether it just has an unknown function. Also is it possible that something that seems useless now could be uselful in the future and is really careful planning by an omnicient creator and not a waste of materials.

The tailbone provides a very important point of muscle attachment that allows for upright posture.
The appendix actually is thought to serve a purpose in the lymphatic system.
Children today mature alot faster than they did 100 years ago, let alone 1000s of years ago, resulting in smaller jaws and less room for the once useful wisdom teeth
The Plica semilunaris or pink lump in the corner of your eye is thought to have once been a nicitating membrane useful in cleaning and protecting the eye. However it is now known to be responsible for secreting the sticky substance and collecting eye garbage forming what most endearingly call "eye boogers."

Opps...check out some the latest scientific research. There is evidence that supports that the appendix may actually be responsible for supporting a normal intestines free of tumors. Also it has been shown that without our tailbone we wouldn't be able to walk properly, and as far as the wisdom teeth go, we really don't need any of our teeth so why the big deal about the wisdom teeth? that's what I've read so far and I'll check into the plica semilunaris also =)

Well then, jeez evolution is such a crappy mechanism....

Actually we do not have perfect bodies anymore. Evolution has affected us in some ways. If we hadn't been designed so perfectly in the beginning, then we would already be dead from the ravages of sin. Also, just because you don't see a use for an object does not mean one does not exist. Non coding DNA is a great example. Would you choose to be born without it and hope it codes for nothing? Oh and I don't even have a vestigial plica semilunaris. Just a caruncula. The picture they had was not representative of what that part of my eye looks like.

by the way your forgetting a few other things that we don't need. also for the one that said we started out perfect pull your head out of your *** for once. nothing ever starts out perfect or you breed in failure and problems dont we know anything.
as far as evolution it's still going on for starters we can live a hell of a lot longer than in the past, we think of greater and greater things (not saying our ancestors were dumb they weren't ). so for all of the ones that are bible tumppers out there try thinking for once and you might find out that you golt brain washed.

They are all there for a reason..God knows what the reasons are....science will never be able to answer everything..or do everything..it will never be as intelligent as God..ever.

The Catholic church teaches it's okay to believe in evolution. We just need to remember that it was God that started the evolution ball rolling...

There is a reason for everything. Ask God. He will answer you.

Creationism is not science, and therefore they are free to ignore anything that does not support their case, which is basically everything but faith.
