First of all...what little we know about it, and how little we have the capacity to understand so far...I just have to be thankful that He did send His Son to pay the price for sin. He did not have to appease anyone. He could have taken over and destroyed all those who rebelled right away. Is that love in your mind? Remove the ability to choose then no one will truly fall in love with Him. Allow people to realize that we really can not do it without Him, and we will know the true meaning of agape--selfless love. Lucifer, no more, but Satan--chose not to accept that grace. He was given a chance and chose to continue in his self-centered delusions of greatness. He wanted to paint an ugly picture of God so that people would reject Him, and in that way, would be allying with Satan. Satan has done a pretty good job of it...just look at this forum and you will see all the people who don't know God, or who don't know the truths that exist about His love and mercy. To have the ability to manipulate facts, one must know those facts--Satan is an expert on history and God's plans. He can guess at the future. He is not omniscient, but he has many allies in churches, politics, and public education...to name a few. My prayer to God is that someone out there will read God's Word with an open mind, heart and soul...in order to accept truth and live according to Bible doctrine instead of paganistic traditions that thrive in modern Chrisitanity.

Read Isaiah 6:8 and Philipians 2:8-11.
God saw that men, women, and children through sin were totally in the clutches of Satan and could in no way help themselves. God asked the question in Heaven as He looked down on the total helplessness of man heading down the slope towards an eternal destination in hell (separation from God forever), "Who will go for us(God and His Son Jesus Christ) and rescue these perishing people?" The Lord Jesus Christ, God's Son, offered himself as the only perfect sacrifice (death on the cross) to save a sinner...Me! His offer is open to you, too. Only believe! Acts 16:31, John 14:6.

God did not "send himself", he appointed and trained agents to do his bidding which is confined o finding ways to speed up the meaning and purpose for human life. There was Spartacus, and he failed. Then there was Jesus, and after a while he failed. Then there was Mohammed, and he experienced a measure of limited success. The greatest successes were the American revolutionaries who started a process that led to the end of outright human slavery that god had been plotting against for 2500 years, but their success is limited because the purveyors of human slavery still exist and still practice their schemes that are calculated to return much of the human race to slavery under rich totalitarian dictators that use religion to control their slaves. Spartacus let a military rebellion against slavery, and all of his surviving followers were nailed to crosses. Jesus started a clandestine anti-slavery underground that aided slaves in escaping out of the Empire, and plagued the Roman nobility for 300 years until they overcame the Jesus movement with christianity that assumed control of their slaves. Mohammed founded a religion that protected the Arabs from christian slave making tactics and it has been mostly successful for 1400 years. George Washington and the American revolutionaries militarily defeated the christian cult that controlled England, and escaped being inducted into christian managed slavery that Europe was mired in. I love this question. I am amazed at how many christians can repeat the same silly story with a straight face.
God creates temptation. Adam and Eve exercise it. God creates "original sin" (another ridiculous concept) as a result. God sends Jesus to earth via a virgin birth (yeah right...more silliness). He then kills Jesus, out of love for us (huh?) and to cleanse us of the sin he invented to begin with. All of this so he can be entertained with seeing whether we humans choose to live the life he prescribed for us in a poorly-written and mean-spirited book.
Boy, that god sure has a lot of time on his hands, doesn't he?

In a way, He had to. God is love. The ultimate act of love is forgiveness but the debt needs to be paid. If He didnt do that, then He wouldnt be a truly loving God. He probably did it for Lucifer's sake as well BUT....Lucifer doesnt want to follow God but be God. Thats the choice that is in front of us now.

Because a good father will always do anything for his children even sacrific himself in order for his children to live in this life and in the next. As where Lucifer is concerned, God didn't do that for him because Lucifer tryed to take over heaven. We all know what our parents would do if we tryed to taken over their house, they'd kick us out just like God did to Lucifer. God tryed to do the same thing for Lucifer as he did for us but, Lucifer refused God's love and sacrific.

It was man that broken the covenant between God and man. The damage was so great that no other human, prophets, angles or saints can mend it back except God himself. It goes to show how great was His love for us that He, in holy heaven came down to a sinful earth to die on the cross for our sins, our faults. So that we now can enter into heaven which is holy and all good.

God sent Jesus to die for us because he loves us beyond what we can imagine with our mortal minds. God did not do that for Lucifer and his gang, because the angels are not made in the image of God as humans are. Man is placed in a higher postion than the angels. That is in the bible, but unfortunately i cannot tell you exactly where. Yes, humans broke his rule. It seems that is what we do. But God is so very forgiving and full of grace....he loves us anyway. Best wishes!

your question is the typical question of standard anti-God fanatics, first of all suicide is when someone takes his/her own life, giving your life up is a sacrifice, Sarge you should know this, if you are really in the army, soldiers die everyday by giving themselves up for the lives of other soldiers, why would an officer in the army give himself up for others in his unit, even ones that don't like him or even hate him? You are just mad at God for something, you need to give that angry to Him and experience His peace, don't worry about others and their decision for or against God you need to worry about yourself

Because Lucifer and his angels haven't repented for their actions. Adam and eve fell from grace, lucifer and his band openly rebeled, that is the difference.
If lucifer repented and begged god for mercy, i'm sure god would forgive him.
