I was wondering if it is possible to enlarge a photo someome took with a polaroid camera many years ago? I'm making a very special pictureframe for my husband who's just getting back from Iraq, and i know this photo means the world to him, and i wanna do this for him as a small welcome home gesture., So i would work really hard and spend good money if anyone could just tell me how to get an elargement?
Thanks.

Any computer scanner should do the trick. Once you've scanned it you can enlarge it right there on the computer using Microsoft Picture It! or any other photo editing software. You could also take the scanned photo file to any photo place and they can enlarge and print it for you. It shouldn't be very expensive. Places that do this kind of work are: Walmart, CVS, and Ritz Camera.

If you don't have a scanner, Staples (the office supply store) should be able to do it for you. Ritz Camera will do it also.

Good luck!

Any stop and shop or photo store can do it for you. Just get the picture scanned and then you can have it enlarged, or made into a placemat or a wall sized poster.

Easiest way is to take it to a drug store (CVS, RiteAid or Walgreen) or a Target or Walmart photo department. Someplace that does photo Restoration, they usually scan and enhance it, once it's digitalized, they can easily enlarge, crop etc.

Go to one of those places that has that Kodak machine that scans and enlarges photos up to 8x12 size. They have excellent quality.
