yeah, i'm pretty skeptical about it but, my friends dentist told her that if she smiled or showed her teeth in the tanning bed that it would whiten her teeth-since the ultraviolet light is the same that the dentists use for teeth whitening. i asked her one day if she was whitening her teeth and she said no and told me what her dentist said (they did look a little whiter). so, as i asked before, can the bulbs in a tanning bed whiten your teeth?

Wow, I never heard of that so I was wanting to know also.
There is a drawback if it does in fact whiten the teeth.
It can damage your gums.
Look at this site for more detailed info. Good ? BTW...

NO I DON'T THINK THAT WORKS.
HER TEETH APPEAR WHITER BECAUSE SHE IS TAN.

JUST FOR ARGUMENTS SAKE IF YOU DID THIS IT WOULD NOT WHITEN YOUR TEETH EVENLY

HEATHER,
THE REASON WHY YOU MAY THINKTHE TEETH ARE WHITER IS BECAUSE THE REST OF YOU IS DARKER. TANNING BEDS HAVE NO IMPACT ON TEETH.
