Most nuns I know are out of this world!

I am not sure what your question is. Do you mean are there nuns today, are there nuns (sisters) who live in communities in the world as opposed to living within a monastery, or ex-nuns, or ??? The answer to all of those would be ... yes. But I can not go into detail because I do not understand the question. Sorry.

Many nuns have gotten OUT of the convents and INTO the world. They help in various ministries many in parishes as administrators. No longer the nun-teacher making $35 a month which goes to the mother house. We treated them badly in the past. I for one am glad to see them "out there" and able to work with them!

Yes and they are some of the most arrogant, rude, obnoxious hypocrites you will ever encounter.

i.e. Standing in a line at the grocery store, two Nuns decide they are more important and push passed me to gain the spot after the current person being rang up, and do not excuse themselves or anything, they just assume I'm a Catholic and they have authority over me.

Yes. I went to a Catholic University and I had some nuns as professors. Some still wear the habit but most don't. I used to address them Dr. Sister "so and so."
