I have used cetaphil for years. My dermatologist recommended it, I have sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts. The only thing I would say is to be sure to wash it off with water, on the bottle it says to remove with a tissue (it does not say to rinse). It is gentle, but cleanses well, and does not make me break out. I would not use anything else.

I am currently using Cetaphil antibacterial soap but I have not seen any progress. I started using it because I had a sudden breakout and I thought it was maybe something to do with my previous cleanser but I don't really know. I normally use Neutrogena face wash to prevent breakouts.

actually, i've used both. cetaphil didn't make me break out but it made my skin feel weird, almost as if the soap was heavy on my face (strange huh) and dove worked well but left my face blotchy(my skin is very sensitive, even for dove sensitive haha) i use clean and clear morning burst scrub and it works great!! i would def. recommend that to you.

I've been using Cetaphil for several years now. (It was recommended by a friend who has skin cancer.) I'd been having all kinds of problems with other cleansers and this has been the only product that has helped my skin.

So far, I haven't had any breakouts with it. And as I've been using it for so long, I'd say it works great.

I had a dermatologist reccomend Cetaphil and I used the CVS version. You have a choice of using water or rubbing it off (I used water)

It's gentle, does not break you out, but if you have acne you will need something to attack it.

I use Cetaphil cleanser (nomal to oily) as a makeup remover. I don't use it as a cleanser alone - I usually follow it with DHC pure soap.
