Scripture is actually a poor tool for that purpose. All 4 gospels were written years after his death, and were not written by Matt Mark Luke John themselves, and Mark and Luke weren't apostles to begin with.
You can however, use EVIDENCE (its that science thing...you know, like evolution?). The gnostic gospels also reference Jesus, as do several non-biased writings of the times.

John 14:16, 18, 20, 26
Read them thoroughly.
The promise for the comforter is the promise of all three members of the trinity.
You might also show the person secular historians, like Josephus Flavius, who makes mention of Jesus in his record of events in the Roman Colony of Palestine.

The entire book of Mathew....Jesus is referred to as son of God and Son of man...he is both...
I think that the better term is that God has the ability to speak THROUGH people...we just don't listen...
have you ever had a problem and a perfect stranger who doesn't know you gives you an answer to that problem... that is GOD and his power...happens to me a lot lately
