I mean we shouldn't just continue to let illegals come into the country in droves but this country is doing down the tubes big time with all our tax money going for the war, and drugs are rampant with people high on drugs driving cars and killing people, and what about the U.S. becoming controlled by China, we owe them billions of dollars and all our goods are coming from China, if they turn on us, god help us. so what some immigrants want to come here to earn money to support themselves and their family.

Shut down Social Security and kill at least two birds with one stone.

I'd say there are worse problems.

Police Departments that are too busy enforcing laws that only provide revenue to deal with real crimes...
A vast majority of the population that has no sense of responsibility and demands the government to take care of every little thing...
The Iraq/ 'War on Terror' debacle...
The 'War on Drugs' fiasco...
Yeah.. there are quite a few worse problems.

"Liberty not only means that the individual has both the opportunity and the burden of choice; it also means that he must bear the consequences of his actions ... Liberty and responsibility are inseparable." F.A. Hayek

No, you have 12 million people whose first act on American soil was to break the law - even while countless others are trying to enter legally (and I welcome them). These law breakers tend to view other laws with equal contempt and when they break an "important" law (like murdering someone), they just head back to Central America. As for doing jobs that nobody else wants to do, by accepting slave wages, they are being abused by their employers and creating artificially low wages for all unskilled and semi-skilled workers - many of whom are minorities. They also shift resources from our own poor citizens in the form of social programs and medical expenses. If you care about the poor and minorities, you will understand that the illegals have to go.

Wow! I agree 100% with Jessica here - she said it ALL and then some! Bravo Jessica! Too bad those who support illegal immigrants will not bother to read what Jessica wrote so logically and sensibly and try to understand the huge damage that illegal immigration is causing the USA.

Sure there are many problems in this country but if we let the illegal immigrants go, the problem will only get worse. This is a law that is being broken, they have no right into this country & did it ever occur to you that if they can cross that border so easlily, so could terrorists?

Yes there are worse problems...but that doesn't mean we should ignore it.

Illegal immigrants most severely affect the people in America who can least afford it. Competing for jobs that would otherwise provide the means of support for poorer families.

Maybe illegal immigrant gang bangers -- MS 13, 14,15, La Raza? 12-20 Million illegal immigrant lawbreakers is a pretty big problem and it can hardly have anything worse than their illegal activities bringing our country down.

Do you know how many problems can be attributed to the illegal immigrants!?

2007-05-01 22:25:49 · answer #9 · answered by trollunderthestairs 5 · 7 1

No. They flagrantly violated the laws and cut to the front of the line while others wait years to enter.
