I messed up on my diet tonight and I purged. This is the first time I've ever made myself throw up. I barely got anything up other than water. And my face was beat red for over an hour, it's been a few hours now and my face is still red. And I have red spots all over my neck and my chest, some on my face too but not as bad.

Are these spots gonna go away anytime soon?

The red spots are broken blood vessils, they should go away after a couple days, purging is really dangerous though, please read a little about the side effects and get some information before you try it again!! Know what you are doing to your body, I know you said this was the first time, but its a huge side of bulimia- I am a former bulimic (22 years old and 20 months in recovery-woohoo!), here is a site with some information on bulimia...

Just a suggestion.
About your spots, drink lots of water, and get some healthy food in your tummy, this will help you feel better and help your body know that its not starving and it will keep your metabolism going...
Good luck, I hope this helps

the red spots are from broken blood vessels as the result of your purging. purging is 10x worst then consuming a caloric excess. the body does not gain any measurable amount fat on a daily basis but over a period of time when there is an extended caloric excess.

They'll probably go away by tomorrow. When you throw your food back up, it's really useless because you only get rid of like 10-15% of the calories you're trying to get rid of. It tastes disgusting, feels disgusting, makes your face look fat (if you do it a lot), and makes your enamel on your teeth rot. Don't do it anymore, okay? Next time you mess up, just exercise more the next day instead! :D

The spots are the least of your problems, those are broken blood vessels, you need to go talk with a psychologist and discuss the need to throw up after eating. Don't waste any time with this, talk to someone soon.
