i am 13. i wiegh 141 pounds and i am around 5'. i wanna lose 40 pounds by the end of this month(may). i dont want to starve myself cuz then ill just end up gaining it back and it doesnt help anywayz.how can i do this?

Oh honey, you don't want to do that, trust me. Lose 15, maybe 20. Don't lose 40 in a month, that'll be completely unhealthy no matter what you do.

Try the South Beach diet. My doctor just recommended that for me. He also recommended "Body For Life". You ought to be able to find a book about that at your local library.

You should get your Mom to take you to a doctor and get a realistic eating plan. It is NOT healthy to lose more than 2-3 lbs a week. You would become ill if you lost 40 lbs. in a month. You didn't put 40 pounds on in a month, and it won't come off in a month either. Be sensible, eat smaller portions of healthy food, cut out junk food and sugar, and get more exercise. That works like a charm.
