I was in a lunch line type of deal and ready to get some milk and the lady was like, what milk would you like and the guy in front of me said she could use some fat free milk. You need to get some skim milk for yourself. Why did he say that? What would you have done in that situation?

IMHO he said it because he's chauvinistic, mean, rude and ugly on the inside. I'll relay what my mother said when some guy, who's shop she was patronizing, (and it usually is guys!) after he told her,"You got fat!" Now, bear in mind this is a man who was known as the town drunk and had a beer belly to prove it...she replied in a normal tone of voice, " I'm too polite to say what's wrong with you."....he chit chatted with my father a while and then apologized! I only think he did apologize because she responded like a person with class. Remember you have class.

don't let jerks like him bring your day down. i am a reallyyyyy sensitive person and i have a problem with people like this. basically, what i am saying is, if someone raises their voice at me, i cry. sad, but true. i am working on this & i definately feel for you. i know its hard, but just try to move on. believe it or not, there are some good people in the world (:

I think he's just being a jackass. I would disregard his comments and go on about my business. Or if you really want to be miss manners you could show him the finger and tell him to f**k off.

You're kidding. Its not his place to answer for you. "I'd say, she was speaking to me---not you. Mind you're own business."
