You are decomposed and return to the earth, recycling yourself into the circle of life.
Technically, you are immortal. Just not conscious.

(Acts 2:34) 34Â Actually David did not ascend to the heavens, but he himself says, ‘The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand, [You await the last day and then]
(John 5:28-29) 28Â Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29Â and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.
(Acts 24:15) 15Â and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) 5Â For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten.
During Judgement day the resurrection occurrs.
would heaven be so wonderful if you could actually see those who were suffering?
Maybe some of your loved ones since it says that few are going to be in heaven?
Few will be in heaven but a great crowd will live here on the earth.

The moment you die you are ask whom you serve (telepathically) when you say Christ, you are lead to the door with the bright white light that is full of peace and if you have unfinished business here such as raising children you can come back, in the end times there will be no choice or coming back you will go to whichever place you choose. If you serve Satan you will go to his domain, if you choose Christ you will go to the door and enter heaven.

I agree with Mae. According to the Bible, death is a sleep. We are not in a conscious state at all (refer to Ecclesiastes 9:5, as Mae stated). Jesus referred to death as a "sleep" ("Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up." John 11:11). When we die, we just sleep in the ground, decomposing.
But this is not our final destiny. According to 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, there is a resurrection of the dead. "But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus...that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in te clouds to meet the Lord in tha air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words."
Those who have died with Christ in their lives will sleep in the ground until the second coming of Christ. Then they will be raised by the Lord and go to heaven. People do not go straight to heaven or hell after they die, for the Bible gives no indication that that is the case. Some verses may seem to suggest that, but you must remember to read verses around those verses and take it all in context. The Bible clearly states that death is a sleep, and a resurrection will take place at the end of time.

One of the most asked questions...
The Creator of the human body tells us. Where ?
In the following scriptures:
Genesis 3:19b;Ezekiel 18:4b;Ecclesiastes 9:5,10.
Seems hopeless ? Not for all. See John 5:28,29;Acts 24:15 and Psalms 37:11,29.

Well looks like no one can answer you.
Jesus answered the following to the criminal crucified next to him, the one that was showing remorse and about to die:
Jesus answered him, 'I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise'" (Luke:23:43)

depends on what you believe in i beleive(but don't judge other beliefs) that when you die you (if your saved or die before being able to comprehend god and satan) you go to heaven (and if you object hate or dissagree with god you sadly go to hell)
