What are the reponsibilities of god to his creation ?

God creates the world - and all that is in it

What are this gods parental obligations to his children ?

If the only obligation of god was to kill his son because my great great X 50 or so Grandfather ate from the wrong tree - say so but it seems a pretty odd position to hold ?

God creates life - what should I expect of him as my parent thereafter ?

My qualifications?

Am I not a child of this god ? Do you not so proudly teach that I am made in the image of this god ?

Then what "qualifications" must I have to ask - what are the reponsibilities of this god - parent to his creation -

He has no obligation to you or to anyone. He never said He did.

What is creations obligation to the creator?

God's parental obligations is love and discipline.

While God's son addresses "original sin" by our Grandfather that is not the sum of it. From fall we became corrupt and you have done more than enough to warrant eternal damnation regardless of what Eve and Adam did in the past. Same with me less you think that was an attack. We have to accept the gift of the cross or that old position will come back and hold you. If you think this is unfair ask yourself what is the statute of limitations on murder?

God created life and as said before his rights and obligations as parent are not unlike yours if you have children. Though he never gives over to the child as we do when the child becomes an adult. But, considering the fact he does know it all and is never wrong I think it safe to say that is not a bad thing.

Many good answers above; so I won't repeat what they've told you; except for reminding you that that the tree spoken of in Genesis, is the "tree of knowledge of good and evil", not just some fruit tree. Eating from that particular tree is why we have had corruptness in the world; not the paradise that God had originally planned for us.
You proclaim to be an Athiest...and that is fine, you have "free will" to think as you choose to. However....for someone who doesn't believe in God, you appear, by all of your many questions, to be quite "hung up" on religious or spiritual questions. WHY?? Are you not sure that you're really a non -believer in God?

hey!you believe that God created you and everything, and thats fine for starters...

You ask, "What are His obligations?"...there arent any, He isnt required , He isnt obliged..

God didnt kill His Son just because your xxxxx grandfather ate the forbidden fruit..Your xxxxxxx grandfather should be the one to die for being such a disobedient creature, instead God showed His Mercy by taking his place...that proves He is Merciful..

The fact that he provides you with food for your everyday needs, proves He is Merciful..

As a PARENT, God takes care of you ..and your needs..He gives you Health, Strength, Wisdom, BUT all this are given in LOVE..You are also given the FREEDOM TO CHOOSE, whether you follow what He says are BEST for you..if you do, all is well...if you DONT, you pay the price..

But NEVER in anything does GOD give us SOMETHING bAD..ITS Either the DEVIL doing it to us, or it is the CONSEQUENCES of our bad choices..so let us not put the BLAME on God..

God is upholding His creation, how He does it is seen in the events we see everyday; the growing of the plants, the orbiting of the stars, the blooming of the flowers, the laughter we get from His creation...

But all these needs FAITH to believe..Unless you trully, really BELIEVE in A God who is there...you will forever doubt what I been telling....so better start now...

God didn't "make" his son come to the earth to replace what Adam threw away, which was life on a perfect earth. And Adam did much more than "eat from the wrong tree." His son offered his life willingly. I'm sure none of us can even begin to imagine the pain God must have felt watching his son die. Why do you think it became night in the middle of the day? Most people blame God for sickness, diseases, wars, killings, death, you name it and somehow God is blamed. Even when little children die from terrible diseases, I have heard ministers say at the funeral, "God needed another little angel in heaven." or "God took them home." All of this is a lie. God has nothing to do with anything that is bad, nothing. His allowing his son to come to earth as a sacrifice for the whole world was the ultimate act of love. His son now is back in heaven and will soon take action against people who have lied and misled people.

God has more parental responsibilities to his creation or children than human parents do. God loves his children much more than human parents do. God sacrificed his son Jesus for our sins, not just for our predecessors. Adam and Eve chose to disobey God and eat from the tree of knowledge. They were then no longer innocent or free from sin. I equate that occurrence to a parent setting limits for a child still living at home at 18 or so, to encourage independence and growth. God cast Adam and Eve out of the tutorial, the same way parents do to children on Earth when they are ready to leave home. As a child of God you can expect love, forgiveness, challenges, and a miracle every now and then. What then are your responsibilities to God as your father?

If you were in Gods' word, you would have your answer to this question. You have a hardened heart. I will tell you this; ' It is appointed unto men but once to die and after this the judgement - Hebrews 9:27.
What was Gods responsibility to us? He sent His one and only Son into this world to die on the cross for our sin that we may have life and have it abundantly. There is His responsibility.
Your responsibility is to recognize that He IS master and creator of the universe. Isaiah 43:10 ' Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: thet ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. Also, Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore and be converted that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
Psalm 53, 'The fool hath said in his heart there is no God.
Romans 3:10 There is none righteous, no, not no one.
Your money, power, influence and position will avail you naught. It is by faith through Christ Jesus and that alone which will save you.
I encourage you to start by reading the book of John. Ask God to reveal His truth to you. God loves you. God cares for you. He knows you by name. Read Jerimiah 1: 4-10.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have life and have it abundantly.
Friend, if a wretched sinner such as I could be blessed by Gods grace and forgiveness then so can you. Oh if I could but have just a few moments of your time in person, if I could show you the wonderful things God has done for one such as I, I know you would weep. He has loved me enough to bring me through all the low times of my life... near death...4 times!, the loss of my parents, etc, and He loved me enough to allow me to witness to you.
How can we EVER hope to survive if we neglect so great a thing as our salvation. To all of you out there and to you sir I pray that my words will touch you and bring you the encouragement of Almighty God. I cannot and will not survive without Jesus Christ. Thank you and may God open your eyes and richly bless you.

You seem to think/talk as if there is some moral way God
should act, yet you don't belive in any morals right?
How can you judge someone/something as wrong when you
don't believe in it yourself. At most, if you are disappointed in
the world it is because you believe it ought to be different.
The assumptions behind your premises(There is a right way for God to act) assume there is a right and wrong no?

God can do anything so why would he be limited to any obligations? If he wanted to he could destroy all of man and the earth at any time without any warning. He will fulfill his prophecy because he is God and he helped write the bible through Jesus Christ. God spoke to the various prophets who wrote the books of the bible. God made man in his image so he does have a master plan that none of us really know the whole truth. God works in mysterious ways. If you are atheists doesn't it bother you to be born, live a life, then die and thats it? No eternal life or kingdom of God?

God made us but we're on our own thanks to Adam and Eve for getting kicked out of the Garden. But seriously, I'm Christian and I don't take the creation story as literally as you do. I view the Bible as man's attempt to understand his existence. This is what I live by:
A Poem by Stephen Crane:
*“Man vs. the Universe”
A man said to the universe, “Sir, I exist!”
“That fact,” replied the universe,
“Has not created in me a sense of obligation.”
