I think an interviewer would rather hear "I don't have a lot of experience but I'm a hard worker, I learn quickly, and am willing to do my very best" than "yeah, I waited tables a year" only to find out you lied. Consider taking the high road and being honest.

I could tell you all kinds of things that you could say to b.s this interview since i was a 11 year restaurant manager. However you have to remember that managers work with the public and can usually read into b.s. At least a good manager can. beinga ble to read peoples wants and needs is what help solve customer and employee issues. How about this there is a book, dvd's on this topic its called service that sells. This will help you out. Remember though you can b.s. your way into the job but when it comes down to having your section flow smoothly by the way you minamize your steps and always doing somthing for more than one table at a time if your not a good server they will know and so will the servers on the floor with you as well as your customers. Think about everything that annoys you when you go out to it and things you like and do them and then a little more

I don't know the restaurant, but when I hired I just wanted to make sure you were clean-looking, and would be able to show up on scheduled times. I can't imagine it's too hard to get an entry level position. Look up their website or grab a to-go menu and learn about the drinks so you know what to offer.

Good luck!

interviewers check out many things. you may not be qualified yet it is person-friendly to get the interest. first of all in the previous i pray for you...... pray for your self!........nicely, the way you gown will tell alot. try some thing neat if accessible purchase 'an attention grabbing fit'. the way you walk, talk or perhaps smile is an incredible project. seem respectable, centred and answer questions,(although in case you dont be attentive to) in an stylish way, u be attentive to? they could ask you something!dont murmur, dont flatter!oh!......n please attempt to persist with a severe high quality attitude, simply by fact yours? is in a multitude. all this issues are available the previous, then finally thats whilst they're going to check out your expert journey or although! Now you're arranged!pass get your interest!
