body needs at least one day a week to repair itself so relax one day a week.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Hello, You don't say how old you are but I will start with what you did say you want to lose about fifteen lbs. You want to work out every day and you want to know of any cheap foods.
We are what we eat. Eat things that are not processed. Keep a food journal. Get a good calorie counter , one that shows fast food calories if you ever eat out. Start out with around 1,200 calories a day. Make sure you put every calorie down. Foods need to be broccoli, cabbage, tomatoes, beans ( black beans, kidney beans, rinsed) sweet potatoes.
Apples, strawberries, kiwi, some grapes. Brown rice, whole wheat pasta and bread. Skinless chicken, tuna rinsed (in the can) lean turkey. Weight watchers has some great free recipes on line and you can go to used book stores to pick some up cheap. Stay close to simple cooking as you can.

Lifting weights (you can get them at garage sales cheap including the bench) builds muscle which in turn speeds up your metabolism. Do full body three times a week and add walking five times a week start out at thirty minutes if your able. Joyce Verdel has great books out. Pick them up at used book store save yourself some money, look in the physical fitness section.

Don't make this just to loose the 15pounds make a choice for life to be healthy. Get your family and friends to join in, it makes it fun and so much easier.
God bless L.

I start my day with a low fat yogurt and cereal or an all bran bar. Lunch is a salad with greens, veggies and a little
protein, like turkey or chicken or tuna. Dinner is chicken or fish with a salad or a green veggie like broccoli or green beans. I have fruit for a dessert and i eat an apple for a snack. If I'm really hungry, I eat 12 strawberry miniwheats.
I've lost 10 pounds since April 1. O, I drink water all day.

Try to eat clean-breakfast most important meal of the day, egg white omlette with wheat toast, oatmeal, or cereal-rasin bran etc.
Snack-string cheese, nuts or yogurt
Lunch-turkey sandwich on wheat bread & small apple
Dinner-chicken breast, small steak, fish, brown rice, vegetables
Drink water, tea, limited amounts soda-diet if at all
Take a multivitamin as well
(you must create a 1,500 calorie deficit to lose 1 pound of fat per week, this must be done by diet or exercise, optimum by a combination of both.)

Chicken is really good, as long as it's not fried. Veggies and fruits are a must. Cottage cheese and low fat and fat free yogurt. Any type of seafood (but that can be pricey). Stay away from the fried foods, greasy foods, and bread (everything that tastes good!), drink lots of water, exercise and be committed and you should see results!

Good luck!

Beans and rice are a perfect protein and are low density, also cheap. The protein will help with your energy while working out and they make you feel full preferably for the vitamin content eat brown rice with your beans.
