Yes, I do. Why would men write so many incriminating things about themselves unless it was inspired by God in order to express His great love for us and show us that we are His children and that He will always love us no matter what.
I believe in everything that it says. I believe that God's plan is perfect and that people see so many contradictions because we are not multi-dimensional like God is. He is perfect and so is His plan. People are the imperfect ones, and He gave us all the free agency to make our own choices in life, choose for ourselves whether or not we would accept Him and follow His laws. If God is giving us free will, and knows of our imperfections, then wouldn't it seem that in order for His plan to be perfect, it would have to be flexible so as to allow for our imperfections?
I'm not some simple-minded I-don't-know-what who follows blindly. I am a very logical thinker, and I have to think things out clearly before I make my decisions and come to conclusions...no matter what it is.
The only logical conclusion I could come to is that there would have to be, beyond any shadow of a doubt, a God who created everything. How else could everything have been formed so perfectly and be made to work together so harmoniously? How could we all have the breath of life? How could all our organs and muscles and every part of our body work together so that we may live and walk about freely? How could something so simple as sex create such a miracle as a little baby that grows and matures the way they do? How could man and nature work together so perfectly to bring life to one another (trees give us our oxygen, and we give them their carbon dioxide)? How could all the plants grow and bloom and form perfectly? How could something so tiny as a seed grow into an enormous tree? How could the planets move and align just right so that life on Earth would be possible? How would it be possible for Earth to be inhabited by life...when none of the others are? How could everything be so beautiful and so perfectly formed? How can anyone look at all the amazing wonders of the universe and say that it is mere coincidence?
I once heard an astronomist declare that people say God created the universe and thus take away from the beauty of it. I think he is wrong. I think that is where the beauty lies. What could be more beautiful than a God with such artistic talents as to create this extraordinary universe with all the life and beauty and everything that it is made of and has such love for and devotion to what He has created that He knows every single one by name, and knows everything about them...right down to the number of hairs on our heads?
How can anyone logically claim that everything just coincidentally appeared out of the blue for no apparent reason and just happened to work together perfectly? That just doesn't make any sense to me.
Also, how could a mere person be able to come up with the notion that just two things are the keys to all the law? Plus, if you think about it, all the laws given to us by God work perfectly together, and they are for the good of mankind. They are there to bring us happiness. By not following them, we only bring pain and sadness to ourselves and others. How could someone just off the top of their heads come up with something like that?
Plus, almost every culture has a story about a Saviour who came to save them and teach them...all the way from Jerusalem to the Native Americans (which came here over 2000 years ago from Jerusalem--dating back before Christ's birth). How could people so far away have the same story about the same person at the same time when they had no knowledge of one another?

I'd also like to point out that just because you asked this question, everyone seems to assume that you don't believe it is the word of God. Maybe you don't, maybe you. Which is it? What do you believe...and why? You tagged my interest.

I believe the Bible is true and therefore is the inspired word of God. The evidence I use may be of no interest to you but I will give you one of the lesser examples that you can understand.
Noah's Ark is a true story. If you go to "Wyatt Biblical Archeology" site there will be pictures and other data for you to enjoy.
The Bible says that something is to be established by the mouth of two or more witness.
For my second witness I will use science and since truth is the truth it needs to be confirmed with truth and I will use a scientific report that I read but didn't book mark but you should be able to dig it out if you want to pursue it.
The European Union did a DNA data bank for all of Europe and they discovered that almost all European woman were descended from seven women. That is consistent with the Bible as it is said Japeth went north (toward Europe) from the ark (located in present day Turkey) with his family. Japeth had seven sons and they each had a wife. They were the nuclear family that settled Europe. Both the Bible and science agree, therefore the history as recorded in the scripture is correct.
Now let me ask a question why do you not believe the Bible is true and why?

I don't. Personally (and no disrespect intended), I believe that the Bible is the gathering of certain manuscripts written by men who claimed to have been inspired by God, and quoting what allegedly God told them.

However, it does have many good things worth reading and observing.

No, because most of it is just a rehash of someone else's religion.

See the Egyptian Book of the Dead for the original commandments, see the story of Horus/Osiris for virgin births and the son of god. See Krishna and Mithras for other variations of this story that predate christianity.

yes because I've seen the Word of God be spoken out of the mouths of Gods people & God immediately puts it to work.....The reason why the average person has not seen the power of God manifested like that is because their sin is in the way.... we cannot operate in both those realms....God does not work that way....He is a holy God.... Go ahead, give me thumbs down...it still doesnt change the truth

I never did to start with.

But, after testing it and learning it, I have come to no other conclusion. It defies logic to say that it was merely written by men.

Those poor fellows, who mostly endured incredible hardships for it, were inspired by someone who is beyond space and time. Someone who knows the end from the beginning. Someone who can make things happen that everyone says are impossible.

Read it. The Bible will withstand your scrutiny.
