I am going to get back together with my ex, who lives by himself. He usually keeps it picked up, but usually doesnt do the "woman" things like dusting, vacuming, ect. He also always talks about when I cook for him. I wouldnt mind cleaning his place for him now and then, or taking him food or something (all he ever eats is sandwiches and tv dinners). Im not talking, like ALL the time or anything. But would this be comming on too strong?

I wouldn't make it an arrangement that you come and do stuff on any regular basis. Just when your there clean up here and there, send him to the store to buy food to cook and vacuum, dust or do some dishes. Make extra food for him when you cook and leave it in fridge or freezer. Then just mention it when your leaving. He'll notice this and appreciate it and hopefully thank you. Make it more about your care and consideration for him rather than a duty of a girlfriend.

Melissa,
Take it easy with this guy and let him get used to having you around again. The fact that you are getting back together with him means something special. Based on the reason you broke up in the first place( not specified in your question) you should act accordingly.

No that's not coming on to strong and if you like doing those things for him then there is nothing wrong with that but he should also be doing things for you also make sure it is a two way street not a one way.

for me. i love it when my girl cooks and cleans for me..... i don't see it as a woman's job but rather what a young boy feels when his mother takes care of him. all men are like little boys we love it that there's someone else that takes care of us. when we go out to dinner with friends my girlie cuts my steak for me. i think it's cute. my friends make fun but i feel good about it. i thank her give her a little kiss and and feed her the first piece. while we're very afficionate our friends are cold.
if you're cleaning ask him for help , make it fun , you sort of have to trick us into doing things or have some sort of reward when we're done.

I'd suggest asking him what would be ok with him, if it would make him uncomfortable. If you don't have that kind of courage you could start out small and watch close to see his reactions

just remember...whatever you do to get the guy is what you have to do to keep the guy. So only do as much as you would be willing to do for the duration of the relationship.

it looks ike he wants you to do everything for him. i think its a bad start because he will get used to this and keep taking advantage of you. you need to talk to him and maybe find a way to compromise

Do you enjoy doing the "woman" things for him? If so, I say go for it. Please come see me if he doesn't appreciate your kindness.
