one time, when i was saying goodbye to someone, they responded in spanish with something i later learned meant "good health" or "go in good health" or something like that. well anyway, i dotn remember what it was in spanish. i was told it is it is a spanish saying, just a way of saying good bye. can anyone please tell me what it is in spanish?? thank you for any help you have :)

it doesnt necessarily have to mean "good health" just like, go peacefully, or go safely or good safety or something. i dont think it's a literal translation, but just something you say in spanish.

Cuidate is often used to say good by it means take care.

I personally tell the people "Adios", (which is a contractiong of "Vaya Con Dios" = God be with you), followed by "Que te vaya bien" (meaning "May all goes well for you").

However, Health is "Salud", and honestly, I have never heard anyone saying goodbye to another person using anything similar to health.

On a related note: If you are at a wedding or at any other event and someone raises his glass of drink for a toast, we say "Salud" ("Cheers").

i couldnt think of anything that meant go in good health
