I don't think Ayn Rand had any objectivism. She was a plutocratic Fascist.

I would say no, but it is still worth reading. I agree with some points that she makes. Her overall philosophy is anti-religion so I think a religious person cannot agree with everything she believes.

No! She is a nazi in her beliefs, and one of the most famous athiest authors. But I think there are things that can be picked up from her stories, (which are INCREDIBLE, and she is an incredible writer and storyteller) like personal integrity, and self-sufficiency that still jive with a lot of religious teachings. It is her disdain for altruism that threw me over the edge though.

Religion as a whole is responsible for many people killing other people. 9/11, the Holocaust (6 million), Iran/Iraq, Palestine/Israel, the list goes on and on. Religion downright scares me and is one of the most evil forces known to man made by man.

i can agree with many philosophic and economic/political elements of rand's philosophy, but her stands on religion and interpersonal romance, I don't agree with.
