The player is separate from the cd/stereo. It's under the passenger seat. If I have to listen to the Rescue Heroes one more time I'm gonna flip out! My sanity is at stake here!

If the reset button does not work, try unplugging the unit and plugging it back in. This is considered a 'hard reset'.
If it still does not work, take it to an independently owned car audio shop. They will be able to get it out for a fraction of the cost the dealership or a large retailer like best buy would charge.

If it doesnt have a reset switch on it like a small hole in the back or maybe in the front then try holding in the eject button then turn your ignition forward to power it up keeping the eject button pushed in this also works as a reset button and ejects stuck cd's/dvd's. You must have hit a bump or it got kicked thats keeping it stuck in there other than that you could slide it out that the top n side cover off and slowly take it out manually either by lining it back up and slidding it out or by using the gears in it and moving the disk to where it needs to go to eject it make sure if u do this you keep the power off so you dont mess up the dvd player though. a kids movie though you might find the same thing i did more than 1 disk in it at the same time which is always nice. And i had do take mine out the hard way.

Many players have a small hole that allows you to insert an unbent paper clip to trip the eject mechanism.

Take a good look at the CD drive on your computer. Almost all of those have it right in front - top right.

See it? Push a paper clip in and see what happens...

OK.. now go look for the same hole on your trunk unit..

good luck

hmm....try inserting another dvd disc into it...bcoz, by doin so, sumtimes the auto sensor disc motor gets activated and drive out the existing stucked dvd disc out from the player...dun pressure the new disc in, just place it to the entrance as if u gonna slot it in....and c whether the stucked dvd pops out....it worked for me once...
