If you expect a pattern, your brain will find it somewhere. The brain is a huge pattern recognition machine. It's the same ability that allows you to find faces in clouds. It does not mean the clouds are sentient beings.

I'm just concerned with the Indian Experience. India has the greatest number of Hindus and the greatest number of Muslims than any country in the world.

The writing on the wall, is a 'thread' that runs through the judeo-christian-Muslim traditions. In the same way, in the Hindu tradition, there are maybe ten thousand 'natural' manifestations of the Hindu deities Ganesha, Shiva, Hanuman, and several auspicious 'natural' creations that slowly develop into temples and then tourist attractions.

Then there are several places where Muslims see the'hand of Allah' and where the faithful go and pray, though this is frowned upon as 'heretical' by the orthodox streams of Islam. In the same way that the apparitions of 'Virgin Mary or Jesus Pictures' are frowned upon by the protestant communities of Christians.

The bottom line is this: if those freaks of nature can inspire all of us to lead better lives as human beings - to spread the love and goodness that is the kernel of all religion: Hindu Moslem Buddhist Christian Jew. If these symbols can stop fanaticism and terrorism, then they may be regarded as manifestations of God.
If however, these symbols only bring forth strife, and division ... then perhaps we'll all have to examine our heads once again.

Where I grew up there was a vicious ice storm maybe ten years ago. Some of the saplings were weighed down and bent into a similar shape. And now, ten tears on, they're beginning to look very strange. It could have been something like that.

In any case, the prayer coincidence thing is pretty cool.

It is just like the Virgin Mary appearing all over the place here and in Mexico. If you want to look for patterns you will find them everywhere.

Honestly, most of those were huge stretches. And that is being polite.

There are also very many miraculous pictures of weeping Madonnas.
Now if Muslims do not believe in weeping Madonnas, would non Muslims believe in your images of the Islamic faiths?
Just think about it.
Have a wonderful evening folks!

Many of the pictures seem heavily retouched.

It doesn't matter - does the creator of the universe really go around signing watermelons and babies heads? Ya think?
