I'd rather just put him in a rest home. He'd pass the "senile old coot" test with flying colors.

According to Bible law nothing should be done. The Bible says NO man knoweth the day nor the hour when the Son of God returneth. Pat Robertson can no more predict the day the Lord comes back any more than I can. That is something only God himself knows.

Pat Robertson is not a prophet. And, if he really knew the Bible, he wouldn't make such predictions. The Bible says no one knows the day or hour.

At the very least, he should be labeled a false Prophet and be "cut off" from the rest of Christianity... that's going by the New Test, as so many are quick to claim that Jesus did away with the laws (yet Jesus himself said he came to fulfill them, not end them). But if we go by the Old Test, he's to be stoned to death.

It's funny though, if a person claims to be a Christian and does this a lot of Christians will just excuse it and say "oh well, he was wrong, but we're not going to hold it against him".... But someone outside of Christianity do this? Wow! These people blow up and wanna make laws against it and go on their own personal media crusades on TV and online, attack anything that doesn't agree with them.

Personally, I don't see him as wrong... I see he lied and people are covering for him because he's one of them and it makes it impossible to respect people who cover for liars.

Ignore anything and everything that Pat Robertson says. He makes it up as he goes along (such as his claim to leg-press 2,000 pounds at the gym), so obviously his senility has the better of him.

I personally believe that he has taken religion to the extreme. He is a good person, but he made a terrible mistake if he predicted the end of the world. (I say IF, because it seems like I missed his program when he made the prediction).

Maybe he does needs vacations; like visiting the US Virgin Islands, and stay there enjoying the time he has left among us.

I think according to the Bible, when a "believer" is wrong about something, the rule is to claim that that's "not what they meant" and that it was "taken out of context."

Deut. 18:22 If he spoke it in the name of Jesus, then no harm should follow, an honest mistake was made, because
I Cor,13:9 says we can only prophesy in part...
Deut. 18:20 If he spoke it in another God's name he should be killed of course according to Moses, and Muhammad says that too...

People have tried to predict the end, but God in His mercy extends the days so that none will perish. He tries to give more time so more will accept His Son before the end. Unfortunately, many think its a joke.
