I just had purchased the indoor grill (Hamilton Beach similiar to George Foreman) that allows me to cook any meat. However, since I didn't stack up on any new meats, all I have is cubed beef stew. I was hoping someone can suggest a yummy delicious that allows me to grill them (preferably with rice).

What you could do is make beef kabobs. You don't necesarily have to put the beef and veggies on a stick. Just as long as you season everything evenly and put it in the grill, everything will turn out delicious. If you want, you can grill the beef first, and the veggies (bell peppers, onion, tomato, zucchini) after since they have different cooking times. Then toss them together once they are all finished, and you can definitely pari it up with some rice :oD

Your cubed beef stew is probably tough, so you don't want to throw it on your grill and eat it. Best to grill it on high, and put it in a crock pot or a pan on your stove and add a little bit of water. Enough to cover half your meat then add butter and herbs. Cooking times will very, but when your meat is nice and tender what I do is remove it from the stock and add the rice to it. You can also add tomatoes like I do.

Take stew meat & marinate In worchester sauce or other liquid marinade. Cook 2 minutes on each side on indoor grill, turning with tongs til all sides are brown. In medium stockpot, place browned meat, then add some chopped onion, several baby red potatoes halved, baby carrots, a couple of cloves of garlic cubed, 1 cup beef broth, 1 stick of butter & a couple of bay leaves. Bring to a simmer, then cook for at least 1 & 1/2 hrs.....Serve with fresh coleslaw & homemade cornbread!!

You can rub the cubed beef with olive oil, season with salt and pepper. Do you have kabob sticks? If so slide the beef on the kabobs and grill. If you don't, just place beef on grill, turn with tongs to make sure each side is done. When done, just add them to cooked rice. You could then heat up a can of cream of mushroom soup and pour over beef and rice.

Stew meat is very tough and needs to be cooked for a long time at a low temperature to be tender. If you try to just grill them and eat them they will be like little cubes of rubber.

because stew meat can be a tough cut of meat that usually requires a long, low, moist cooking process, you may want to marinade it in a mix of tomato paste and italian dressing for a few hours to help soften the meat, then you can grill it with mushrooms, onions and green pepper slices, and add water and boil the marinade to cook it down to a sauce to serve over the meat, veggies and rice.

You can do Shish Kabobs. Put the stew meat on skewers with various veggies(mushrooms, bell peppers, onion, zucchini, yellow squash). I like to marinate mine in an Asian salad dressing. Most people like to use italian, but I like the flavor of the sesame seed oil in the asian one. You can also serve them over the rice of your choice. I do them over stir fried rice noodles with the same veggies that are used on the skewers. For more recipes for shish kabobs use the web site below. Good Luck.
