Both are fictions. God and Satan don't exist. They are superstitions.
Actually, people like to attribute good things to God and bad things to Satan in order to bolster their belief.
You don't really need a Christian answer. They'll just push the party line. You need reality.

Well..... if your read the bible, seriously.... God killed more people than Satan did.... it's a fact, not an opinion. Frankly, I think many people hate the Church and not God. Because Church is the organisation in history that killed the most people ( more than Hitler). Church still promotes violence in a certain way ( against homosexuals, some other religions, etc). And finally, I think people shouldn't blame God, they should blame themselves. Bad stuff happens so you can learn something about it. If you believe in God, you should see what you learn about the bad things that is happenning in your life, so you can grow as a better person if you take the good thing in it. You should be thankful to God even if a bad think happens, you have to see that as a teaching. I frankly don't believe in God, but I feel it's the way that a christian should see. I also think that a christian should accept everyone , EVERYONE , without judging, like Jesus did.

God created Satan, sin and suffering. God could end it but doesn't. Don't use the argument men have free will. That's only good when a person has a choice. 25,000,000 people in Europe 1936 - 1944 didn't have a choice. The innocent children dying of incurable disease have no choice. The Indians in the New World had no choice when they were being slaughtered in the name of God and Church. God is supposed to be the all powerful, the omni potent, loves mankind. Why blame god? He allows the horrors to exist.

Well God is all powerful so when things happen god allowed Satan to bring these events about, so when people blame, they're really complaining to god for allowing Satan to exist. If we say dam the devil it has, no power & we know blaming Satan has no meaning. I' not a Christian but a seeker of truth, sorry I answered your question but I couldn't help myself

Sometimes,I blame God for making Satan.
I guess it's because God is this powerful knows everything spirit who can stop bad things from happening and when he doesn't people get mad and blame him.But he allows people to make a wrong or right choices. And sometimes,we just don't know why things happen but it doesn't mean to lose faith.

Coz sometimes the lesson is very hard to deal with and causes one to lose faith in doing the right thing. For instance, being a hard worker who always did as told and went above and beyond...only to end up with much less to show for it...and the less hard working ones who hated you and did wrong all the time being more appreciated...yeah, that can make someone wonder why they always try to do right....

normally this style of fact comes as a reaction to a minimum of one individual's declare that "god solutions prayers" or "with god all issues are attainable" or "you're blessed, whether you don't be responsive to it" etc. as quickly as I improve the question, that's an attempt to place perfect the different individual's obvious assumption that the stable consequences orginate outdoors of human interest, while the poor consequences do not. that's, if I have been given a job advertising, i could not be so blessed as i'm annoying working. the comparable, if human beings weren't so grasping and self-righteous to disclaim nutrition to somebody through fact they are in yet another usa or they are 'lazy,' then those ravenous through fact of interior reach famine does not be.

If you believe in one all-powerful god, then Satan is a subordinate to him/her/it.
If you believe your Satan is not under youir god's power, than you believe in more than one god.
If you read the Old Testament and believe it, you would see the Christian god is not about "good" so much as arbitrarily cruel and vicious.
I personally think it is healthier not to believe in the Christian Satan or god.

um because God created satan and instead of zapping satan out of existence he thought it would be fun to play a little game
therefore god gets all the blame.

because God created us and loves us and people think, "wait if he loves me why would he let this happen to me"
instead of thinking that, they should understand that God doesn't "let things happen to you".. you let them happen, and blaming God & others is'nt going to help you at all in the long run. You need to love & be thankful for what you have.. if we didn't have life lessons or downs in life than how would we ever learn?
