okay so i met this girl 4 weeks back and everyday since we have been talking, texting, emailing for hours at a time ECT. i really like her and really want to meet her again. she is avoiding this because she says "she needs to know someone well before hanging out with them" well its been 4 weeks now and im going nuts because i think shes awesome but she absolutly will not meet up with me and i dont wanna seem desperate about it.
she gives the same excuse tho, i asked if theres something shes not telling me like "poss rape victim" she said no.
is there something i am missing? why wont she meet up with me to hang out or date?
also i told her today i dont think i want a long distance friendship like this when it isnt nesscary since we live so close to each other. did i screw myself over with that?

I think 4 weeks is a long time to go w/out seeing some1 especially if u live close by each other. I think u were honest with her by telling her what u want..u cant make urself like a situation when u dont. If she likes u as much as u like her she will be willing to compromise a little bit I would think...like do things during the day in very public places if she doesnt fully trust u.

sure :) Skype or oovoo eachother and call/textual content on an wide-spread foundation. 0.5-hour isn't a lengthy distance to satisfy up for in case you both are loose on your weekends. Meet at places that are a honest distance from both one in each of you as to make the vacation time for both human beings honest. perfect needs :)

It's possible that there's more to her than you know. Perhaps she has no interest in getting involved in anything other than an online fling because...she's not single? There could be plenty of other reasons why she doesn't want to make real life contact, but that's just the first one that comes to my mind.

Sounds like she's trying to let you down gently. Move on, find someone else. If she wants to meet up with you, she has your phone #, IM address, whatever, and she can contact you.
