That is how much God loves us. Jesus had to die for us because there is no other way we could be forgiven. Instead of asking why thank Him for all He has done, I know I do! I cry sometimes to think of the pain and torment that Jesus went through dying on that cross, and for God to see Him going through that. God bless you!

Adam - forfeited suited human existence and surpassed on dying to all his toddlers. The Mosaic regulation became making waiting the Israelite usa (by using animal sacrifices) to relish that blood had to be shed to redeem mankind from their sinful problem. no remember what number animal sacrifices have been made they might in no way pay the cost divine justice mandatory a suited guy. So God presented the cost mandatory a suited human existence - Jesus Christ. He picked his ultimate so his purpose might somewhat be fulfilled. God's unique purpose is pronounced at Genesis a million:28 Adam and Eve have been to have toddlers and advance the barriers of paradise to embody the whole Earth, with out prospect of dying, affliction or issues. Adam and Eve forfeited this for all persons. So the 1st prophecy interior the Bible became reported at Genesis 3:15 - God might furnish a seed to undo the revolt of Adam and Eve. If Jesus did no longer die for each human that ever lived on earth none persons might have a desire. Now that the cost became paid (ransom fee) now all humankind has a desire to wait for. as an occasion Psalm 37:10,29 :"And basically a quick time longer, and the depraved one would be not extra...The righteous themselves will very own the earth, and that they are going to stay constantly upon it" and Revelation 21:3,4"..The tent of God is with mankind and that they are going to be his peoples. And God himself would be with them. And he will wipe out each tear from their eyes and dying would be not extra, neither will mourning nor outcry nor soreness be anymore. the former issues have kicked the bucket." the super purposer - God- will deliver each little thing returned to his orginal purpose - to have obedient mankind inhabiting a suited gardenlike homestead on earth constantly - in suited well-being and happiness - with the final enemy dying (a million Corinthians 15:26) being bumped off constantly.

I'm sure he could have and I'm sure he wanted to. However, this was part of God's plan since before the Earth was created. His Son volunteered to come to Earth to teach mankind and then to suffer and die as a sacrifice for our sins. He payed the price for our personal sins--every one of us, so that if we would repent and believe in Him and what he did, we wouldn't have to suffer the penalties for our sins. Because of this loving sacrifice, we can be forgiven for our mistakes and return to live with God. God knew that this sacrifice would be necessary, and that is why he let his Son go through with it and let the people crucify him. But he could have stopped it if he wanted to.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten Son that whosoever would believe in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Yes he could have, but he didn't because that was the entire point of the exercise. If he had "magicked" him off the cross, there would have been no atonement, no expiation of sin. Jesus himself, while he was *on* the cross, mentioned to the theif who was mocking him that he could call on legions of angels to get him down from there, but he didn't because Jesus had Volunteered to be our sacrifice.
Why? Because ONLY an innocent, sinless sacrifice could atone for the sins of the world.
Think about it. We are saved by His blood. So, no blood, no salvation. Yes, he was scared, yes, in Gethsemani (the garden, the night before) he wanted to back out. BUT because he could see beyond the present moment, he accepted the burden of sin.
YES, God had to turn his face away from Jesus at that last moment, partly because all that sin came on him at the moment when he said, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" but also--and this is something some people don't realise--because Jesus had to suffer the terrible agony that we all feel, that existential agony of loneliness when your realise that no one can relate to what you're going through because they're outside your situation. You see Jesus was tempted and suffered just like us--so obviously he too felt sexual temptation, etc., just that he didn't act on it. But you see, in order to have a Redeemer who WAS like us, and HAD felt all the pain we felt, he had to know what abandonment and total lonliness and heartbreak felt like. So we do have a God who can relate to our pain, not some "watchmaker" out there who is watching impassively from a distance and saying, "oh how interesting." God is not Mr. Spock, observing the world without emotion. He wanted us to know he feels our pain, he's been there and knows. So he sent Jesus, fully man and fully God-in-man. He chose to be limited to a human body and circumstances so that we would know he understands.
When Jesus cried out "It is finished" and died, there was an earthquake and the Temple veil was torn from top to bottom, signifying that we now have direct access to God by accepting that blood sacrifice for our sins and living a life in accordance with that.
Yes, I know, there are many "Christian believers" who *don't* live as if it were true--but remember, that's not God's fault. We do have our free will and if we choose to be false and walk all over our salvation, well, what goes around will ultimately come around. Don't blame God for those who claim to follow him. Try to be better than that, and live your life as mindfully as you can. Be the change you want to see.

I too have felt like this in my early part of life as a Christian. As you come of age you start understanding that God in all His wisdom had set certain norms which we as Humans do not understand. Only perhaps when we reach eternity will we truly understand the meaning of the Jesus' sacrifice on the cross and what salvation is.

Suggestion- read the bible before posting nonsense questions. Before Jesus it was common practice to make a sacrifice of an animal to ask for forgiveness. Jesus was our 'animal sacrifice' and therefore accepting him allows our sins to be forgiven. I'm pretty sure God struggled with the whole concept- as did Jesus himself, "Father, why have you forsaken me?". But then again he did bring his Son back to life which was a pretty nice, fatherly thing to do. Makes me wonder why he even bothered when people like you have no idea or even care.

As an example to us, for the remission of our sins, so that Jesus could be our intercessor with God (none come to the Father but by me). No one said God is a 'nice person'. Yes, He loves mankind. But in the last days.. well if one is interested, read the book.

First, Christ is a part of the whole of God. He was God's Son by the fact he was made a man through birth into this world.
Befort the birth of Jesus, God existed and the Son is a part of the whole of God, not a created being. God Is all knowing so you must agree God knew man had a sin nature and would fall into temptation and sin. God id righteous and sin does cause a seperation therfore an all knowing God would have a plan right? It was not God's plan to join in man's unrighteousness as in pretending man had not sinned. God's plan was to pay the penalty of death for his creation so that man could be joined to God in righteouness. A righteous God only had two choices he could not agteee with sin therfore man would have to be destroyed for his imperfections or the penalty would have ot be paid by God himself. God chose to bring man back to God's righteouness by paying the penalty of death for him. God did not kill Jesus and Jesus overcame sin and death, While the flesh of God did pay the peanlty for us God is righteous and the grave can not hold him. Jesus is with the Father and was resurrected in all of his glory. the victory over sin and death was won by a righteous and merciful God.

John 3:16 - 17 (NKJV) 16For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

He did it for you.
