"And if there were a God, I think it very unlikely that He would have such an uneasy vanity as to be offended by those who doubt His existence." - Bertrand Russell

In my opinion, if there is a god, and he doesn't give us a shred of proof that he exists... and he gives us brains.. I think he would be delighted that we are putting our brains to use and coming to the only intelligent conclusion that there is no god.
What do you think?

I think you be correct. If god exists I'm sure he is more concerned whether we are good people and not if we believe in him or not.

I read an interesting quote once: (I'm sorry, but I don't remember exactly who it was that said it, but here is the quote.)
"Philosopher and literary critic Galen Strawson once proposed that it was the atheists and agnostics that god must love the most: "For they are the ones who have taken him most seriously." Strawson saw belief in god as an inherent insult to god himself. A god which gave us reason would want us to use it, wouldn't he? In a dispassionate and honest pursuit of god, I have found nothing but creations of men. I take the questions of theology very seriously for they relate to my passage in this life. But, I have an obligation and responsibility to rationality. I can only believe those things for which I have reason to believe. I can only set my beliefs to be proportional with evidence and logical deliberation. Sure, a heaven may sound good, but it is wishful thinking only. Even if there was a god, would he rather you honestly disbelieve or dishonestly and emotionally pursue him endlessly without any means, reason, or foundation?"

Wow ultimately a reliable question. i do no longer believe in... God(s), there is not any reason to believe in them. The "enormous Rip" in cosmology. it incredibly is a hypothesis based on the thought that the cosmological consistent is time based. The Copenhagen interpretation in quantum thought. there is not any might desire to anticipate that the wavefunction collapses basically on the grounds that's the finest thank you to think of approximately quantum mechanics. very almost each little thing that the well-being industry says approximately capability practise/bodybuilding as a manner to get beginner lifters to purchase their supplementations. The well-being industry is a production facility for bullshit, do no longer even get me began. The drug conflict. it incredibly is a failed attempt at controlling the persons, and a central authority which will arrest to blame adults for exploring their very own brains by drugs is a central authority that may not interested in freedom.

God cares that there are people who don't believe in him because he loves all of us and wants us to live the best lives and most importantly - afterlives we can possibly live.

Before I found God, I was insecure and depressed, and now - I couldn't possibly be happier.

And also, remember there isn't proof that God DOESN'T exist, either.

This Atheist doesn't care whether God actually cares that there are Atheists.
