Yes when we ask GOD to guide us in our lifes he will.

Jeremiah 29:11 says GOD has good plans for us.
Psalm 23:1 when we have GOD as our Shepherd we will not want.

It is good to be under his guidance. When u obey him and walk under his will u are blessed.

read John 3:16 .GOD sent his son JESUS so when we believe in JESUS we have eternal life.JESUS lived a sinless life and gave up his life as a sacrifice so we can be sin free. Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and
cleanse ur past with his blood.

With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.JESUS loves u and wants u to be saved.

The steps of a good man ( righteous man ) are ordered by the Lord. Oh yes indeed he guides us. He is our good shepherd and He is guiding those who are His, ever leading them in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake , sanctifying them by His word, bringing them ever closer to the day when we will be like Him and see Him as He is. To be known even as we are known.

Put another way: is there such a thing
as divine intervention?

I believe the answer to that is so personal,
it exists only with the person.

I don't believe in miracles. Yet, divine
intervention occupies the lion's share
of my existence.

I do not always feel the presence of God. However, I know that He is always with me, since His word promises that He will never leave nor forsake me, and God is not man that He should lie.

Of course not. No gods exist, not even the one you've been taught about. Any presence is just wishful thinking. Sorry.

It's the 21st century - do people still believe the old legends?

Yes I do.But most of the time it is like the story of the two men going to Emaeus. They didn't realize that it was the resurrected Christ walking with them.
