If I were your age I would,yes...dating should be fun for both of the people involved and if your lucky a steady relationship may develop over time with some girl that becomes special...
By the way looks aren't everything,(even though you sound cute) and girls who judge on looks alone are not worth wasting your time on..find someone who appreciates the "true" you!...good luck! =)

I would if I'm around your age, unless you have serious BO, or bad breath, weird habits/obsessions. Otherwise, you sound great. However, girls your age tend to prefer the 'bad boy' types, don't they?
